Happy weekend to everyone! Back to you with this amazing mix from Tapefeed, extracted from their closing set at RSO club in Berlin some weeks ago. Enjoy!

Tapefeed is an electronic music project realised out of a collaboration from two Italian artists,
Alessandro Boni and Rick Vayo. Currently based in Berlin and Venice.

The duo’s sounds encompass a rich array of styles from techno to experimental, raw percussion to 4/4 all whilst continuing to preserve their love of distinctive and powerful broken-beat grooves.

From their Superstition residency at Village Underground to sharing the decks with techno leviathans Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Tommy Four Seven, Paula Temple, Perc, I Hate Models and more, Tapefeed have been forging a path on the international techno scene over the last few years and are now holding a residency in the iconic London club Fabric since 2021.

Together with an accumulation of releases on labels such as Houndstooth, Mord, Metempsychosis and Abyss, in 2021 Tapefeed have launched their imprint “Inveterate” to focus on the duo’s archetypal sound and vision by inviting producers to break the rules and explore the fringes of their artistic extremities/limits/frontiers. Inveterate aims to scale the perimeters of techno with fresh, anarchic and unexpected elements.

Beat Runner, a new label founded in 2025, originated from a lifelong interest, seeks to discover and advance deep, creative techno tracks for both fans and DJs that are committed to the genre. Techno-head, producer, and DJ Yankee Charlie is in charge of the project.

When he heard the daring sounds of the Spiral Tribe, Okupé, Desert Storm, Metek, and numerous other innovative European sound systems in the mid-1990s, the Frenchman fell in love with the joyful free-raving days. 'Sea Wall' is his new EP, and he has already published a track on Algumritmo, demonstrating his revitalised energy of creation after ten years of health problems and personal lessons learnt.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "The Bird Maker" with a soulful and timeless sound. The deep and morphing pads combine with skipping claps and a swirling synth break as it oozes class, quality, and old-school grooves ready for enlightening any dance floor.
