Hailing from the sunny Mediterranean, where the air is so dewy you don’t even have to lick your postage stamps, this unlikely duo has been sticking it to the man ever since their first ill-fated attempt at dislodging an analogue turntable rig to make way for their fledgling computer music ensemble.

Since that fateful evening back in 2007, DFT has gone on to spread the good word to all who would listen, conventionalizing the unconventional, and blurring the lines between studio production and live performance.

Those fortunate enough to have seen them live will testify that their DJ sets are action-packed affairs, incorporating an ever-expanding array of computers, controllers, drum machines, synthesizers and FX units to deliver a truly original and unique experience, spanning an array of genres, including french house, deep house, electronica and techno. 

Seamless sampling, audacious effect integration and lightning transitions epitomize their sound, which has aptly been described as ‘disco clash rave’ – with influences such as @iamdjfalcon, @boysnoize, @thisisturfmusic, @etjusticepourtous, @mroizo, @2manydjs and @feelmybicep, it’s easy to see just why.

Having graced the hallowed turntables of seminal festivals such as Creamfields, Stereosonic and Summerdayze, and revered late-night institutions including QBar, Seven, @tramp.on.air and Ivy Penthouse,  DFT have earned the title as the ‘’DJs’ DJs” amongst their hometown brethren; natural call-ups for bespoke late-night after-parties and pioneers of the fledgling Web3.0 party scene and, of course, resident @milkcratelabel DJs.
