Having cut her teeth on floors such as Paradise Club and the Finer Things Festival, Lucy’s zesty selects have landed her sets at Lost Sundays and a regular show on Marrickville’s Orbital Radio.

Lucy steps up for Lost Sundays Sessions 004 with a butter-smooth tracklist, featuring the likes of Youandewan, Tom Bruce and Nathan Pinder. Stream it now via the link in our bio.

“There are so many tracks in the mix that get me excited, like the little groovy number ‘Pickled’ by Kepler. I’ve had it on repeat since I discovered it. It’s the perfect blend of a fast, deep bassline with all the sparkles and a bit of sass - and the little “hello” sample on the drop puts a smile on my face.

I’ve also included a recent discovery from Italian-born, London-based artist, Mariiin. A seasoned, well-respected selector with a very impressive record collection and impeccable taste for underground music, her track ‘Organic Affair’ is *chefs kiss*.

Listen out for the dreamy “Get In Line” by local Eora-based producer, Tom Bruce. Taken from Tom’s most recent EP, ‘Faux Personality’, the track’s deep rhythms and moody synth work are sure to take you for a joy ride. It makes its way into the mix towards the end and is one of my favourite tracks in there.

Finally, Nathan Pinder’s ‘Good Times Ahead’ (released on Haws earlier on in the year) simply screams dancefloor energy! The trippy vocal, euphoric synth and 90’s progressive house influences make for a perfect big room track I can’t wait to hear played out on a system. from starting off as a partygoer like many of us, lucy got around to teaching herself the basics of mixing around 4 years ago and has developed into an amazing selector. though, it was only in 2021 which saw the start of a series of guest mixes, eventually leading to gigs at some of sydney’s best parties including lost sundays, paradise club & finer things festival. more recently, she has also landed herself resident slots with oblique sydney and nomad radio - a community radio station where she hosts her own monthly show named 'flow'.

after listening in, you'll understand why some of her biggest music inspirations range from ethel, melody, charlotte, joe delon, laurine & cecilio, alec falconer, ben bracken (of course!) & truly madly.

Lucy B knows the ins and outs of Eora’s music scene better than most. Starting out as a dance music enthusiast, she taught herself the basics of mixing, and inevitably grew her hobby into a creative project through many different outputs. Having curated a series of guest mixes, she’s landed performances at some of Eora’s most renowned parties - Lost Sundays, Paradise Club + Finer Things Festival, and now has a residency on Eora’s Oblique Records, and Nomad Radio. Warming the decks for the likes of Job Jobse, Bradley Zero, CC:Disco!, DJ Boring, and Harrison BDP, her refreshing output of deep house, breakbeat, UKG, and electronic toes the line beautifully between warm and inviting dance-floor listening, to just the thing to lead you into the early hours of the morning. This mix is perfect listening for anyone wanting to get stuck into it.

Black Light Smoke: Music To.. Make Pancakes To

Lee Foss Presents the Modern Amusement Podcast episode 01. . .
I received this mix last week.  It was sent from a future me on a disc labeled Lee Foss Live @ Hot Natured Party Saturn 2082.  It was brought by robot called B6 the Backwards Motion Robot.  It was shivering and cold to the touch so I take it the time travel process must be freezing.  Some time in the near future mankind must have achieved both time travel and a colony on Saturn.  Apparently this was a “classics set from the early 2000’s” at a Hot Natured Party on Saturn and “went right off”  This was all the information B6 had. . .
As this mix was made by a future me, or possibly a clone I do not have a tracklist.  Enjoy. . .
