I didn't want to let a year pass without uploading a new mix, so find a nice new mix with favourites from 2021 - mixed using vinyl on two turntables, complete with a few jumps owing to badly looked after records... 

Loads of nice Italo Disco bombs and quite high-tempo too. The mix is named after Sound Movement (track 11) and also credit for the artwork to 'A.  Lato' which is from the Sound Movement back cover and used for the image of this mix.

Italo Disco Sound Movement Mix

A five-hour (!) live recording from February 12, 2022 at The Little Jerry in Toronto. I'm playing on a Condesa Carmen V rotary mixer and, after a certain point, I'm playing very drunk. And then it eventually devolves into random 7"s for the last 30 minutes.

and welcome to my mix for June and my sweet spot: Italo Disco.

As some might know already I'm deep into Italo Disco for quite some time. It all started by cruising in Marcus tuned Opel Corsa from his brother blasting 'Boys' from Sabrina, me cringing about it in the first place but slowly and surely falling into love with Italo.

For this mix I tried to pick some of my favourite Italo Disco tracks (at least the ones I own 😅) that would fit into what I call 'Italo Disco Classics'. So unfortunately no Sabrina but watch out, there's more to come.

Second mix in our GSC mix series from Berlin based disco explorer @RenaVolvo . Soon after discovering her penchant for disco bangers from the 70s and 80s she started playing in world class parties such as H.A.N.D., Renate and Automaticamore. Last year we had the chance to invite her at our Gonzo Sport Club party where she offered a glorious night of dancing.
