'Reference' is a very strong track, which is constantly built on percussion instrument sounds focused on the groove to generate movement, accompanied by a very marked progressive bass line and oscillating synthesizers with aggressive and dark melodies that lead the track through different textures and sensations to achieve a melodic and joyful atmosphere in a fresh and spontaneous way.
Deviu causes more melodic feelings about the original track, preserving its identity moving through dramatic and aggressive sounds, created through analogue synthesizers.

"Measuring Time" continues this inspiring line of work. The EP's title track, Measuring Time, is a "hard-hitting signature", the kind of synth-laden beauty that promises to join the canon of his greatest tracks to date.

Procyon is a furious and punchy weapon, that mixes dancefloor functionalism with raw, distorted sounds. The resulting cut is a slice of Melodic Techno fuelled electronica, with as many sides as a Rubik's cube, as bass cuts, muffled effects distorted chops, and vocals that keep things interesting throughout.

Berlin's finest Matchy returns to ICONYC with an absolute classy piece of music entitled 'Iconic People' featuring Heartskin on vocals. The German producer who has been a prominent mainstay in the electronic underground kicks' things off nicely with his original mix of 'Iconic People'. The full-on festival vibes shine through, as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords and Heartskin's vocal sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth. Matchy's trademark beat manipulation is prevalent, as all manner of elements drift in and out of earshot. Perfect for beat loving club crowd or to close a big night out in style. 

Raphael Mader, who has been coming through the ranks at lightspeed, certainly needs no introduction. He created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as their restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up we welcome Mattia Pompeo for his debut on the label, the Italian maestro known for his polished sound, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh – His transcendent touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.
