A unique gypsy jazz quartet made up from four of Ayrshire's top musicians, The Cafeorchestra are an acoustically electrifying band playing traditional gypsy and folk music with some originals and jazz standards in their own unique style. John Duffy leads the band and is a brilliant bouzouki player and singer. Ian Newlands on guitar is heavily influenced by Django Reinhardt, his solos are brilliant. Karen Henderson on fiddle is recognised as one of the finest fiddlers in the country with her husband Martin an excellent musician in his own right completing the quartet on bass guitar.

Melisa Kelly and the Smokin' Crows are a Glasgow based blues and soul inspired five piece band. Over the past two years they have gained a reputation as an upcoming original band, with powerful live performances. Their EP 'Some Kind of Voodoo', was released to critical acclaim, and appeared on The Blues Magazine radio show, as well as their live performance on STV Glasgow. Melisa Kelly has supported blues man, Big Boy Bloater, and the band have played with the likes of Alabama 3, and Jool's Holland's RnB Orchestra. They will be recording their debut album this autumn for a 2018 release.
