Out of Fashion Boys Compilation Vol.2: Punch Drunk

Punch Drunk refers to the dizziness when fighters get rocked, pretty much resembles to the numbness after five six Vodka shots. We borrowed this concept to name our compilation, hoping it delivers the same experience aurally and emotionally even without Vodka. So that you may keep your feet on the ground when the real punch comes. As Buddhism says, "All sufferings are caused by omissions.” All those omissions (joys and sorrows to put it simple) are punches to our life, where all our false satisfaction and desperation are punch drunk. Wish we can stay sober, or just straight out get a "punch drunk".

Punch Drunk指的是在格斗比赛或现实中被重拳击中产生的眩晕感，就像是一口干掉一杯伏特加后对整个世界都失去了知觉。我们借用这个概念来命名这张合辑，是希望让每个人即使不喝伏特加，也能够在听感和情绪上体会punch drunk。等到哪一天真的迎来一记“punch”时，希望你能站稳。就像佛教所讲的有漏皆苦, 所有的“漏”（简单理解为过喜或悲的情绪）都是一记punch，我们对生活的所有虚假的满足与绝望也是punch drunk，希望我们能保持清醒，否则就干脆享受punch drunk吧。

Esta imagen tópica es la que brinda aliento a este primer trabajo de Fauste, donde la espesura de la noche encuentra reparo en la decisión de no olvidar su opuesto. Sin encandilar ni obturar, la obra cobra vida en la penumbra. 
Arrancado de la tierra donde nació, y arrojado a la ceguera blancura de la ciudad, Fauste recoge los fragmentos de sus fantasías prematuras como la brújula astral de su camino aún sin recorrer.

The brilliance of a star can return our reflection with the same distant certainty as the tremulous glow of a mobile phone on a suffocating and abundant dance floor. This thematic image is the one which acompanies the first work by Fauste, where the thicket of the night finds refuge in the decision not to forget its opposite. Without dazzling or shutting, the work comes to life in the dim light.
Ripped from the land where they were born, and thrown into the blinding city, Fauste picks up the fragments of their premature fantasies like the astral compass of a path to be followed.
