Nicole Ramos is a young singer who dabbles in acting, hosting, and modeling. She is a Finalist for Best New Artist in the 2013 Aliw Awards. Nic hosted the popular sports show PTV SPORTS on Channel 4 for 2 years.  She had her own segment called HOME COURT which featured the cribs of athletes who inspire. Nicole sang the Philippine national anthem during the Stephon Marbury basketball charity event in August 2013 which was participated in by Filipino PBA and ABL basketball stars plus former NBA player Stephon Marbury. This 2012 De La Salle College of Saint Benilde graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, is a freelance artist - doing musical theater, singing, and hosting events.  She also recently got a part in the film "Last Night" directed by Joyce Bernal. 
Nicole performs at the Movie Stars Cafe in lead roles like Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Cinderella, Princess Aurora(Maleficent), Princess Anna(Frozen), Elsa (Frozen), Bella Swan (Twilight), etc.  She is a host and cast performer for Madison Events, Inc.  too.  She also sings at events and at acoustic gigs at the SkydeckView Bar(Bayleaf Intramuros), Luna Coffee NAC Tower BGC, Kpub BGC, etc.

Hi! My name is Rad... I've always been acquainted with MUSIC as it defines my life and my personality.

Music has always been the biggest impact in my life since I was a little child. It inspires me. It gives me hope when I am down. It strengthens me when I got so many problems.
When I was a child (maybe 5 years old then), when I got singing as one of my interests as our family attends every Sunday Mass and I sing together in tune with the choir, My mom, who has talent in singing observed it and maybe discovered that I have a voice to sing. And so when she noticed that, she tried to teach me how to sing properly. She always tells me that nothing is more important in singing than to connect emotionally with the song and the listeners. That, whenever you sing, you need not to impress people but to touch their feelings and captivate their hearts, the way you want to express the song.

I always have bad days in singing. The most embarrassing one was during a competition in childhood years called NAMCYA(Arts and Music Competition for the Youth) when I got to be in a large stage of a huge stadium as hundreds of people try to listen to you in an individual vocal competition. Result is, I got stage fright and had never ever spoke a single word in a song..(Oh, that was really embarrassing)... Another is always being the second option and it sucks. It tends to hurt me not sing anymore because I can feel I am always trying hard and always at the back of the list. It tears me down because I know I have a dream to become a singer one day and make a record.

I can say that the recent few years were the best years in my music life because I got to join in singing contests and fortunately wins. But life has always ups and downs. And with the challenges that a person struggles, these are just trials given by God to make them strong and be polished, as the saying goes, "The fire that melts a butter is the same fire that hardens a steel"... I somehow realized that whatever you do, just put God first in it. How you sing a song, just give a heart in it...Whatever you do, always give a passion and make the most out of it.

My music life is inevitable and continuous. I will never stop singing and praising the Lord. Touch someone's heart through music. Share the talent and be an inspiration to everyone...
