A really nice theme! I like the odd usage of the jouhikko in this! <3

For this track alone I can forgive unforgivable waiting at the start of DMs

i really wish a net could have done more with IBS but atleast the music was too quality

Primordus deserved more story - loved the ice brood saga but it was too short

Lena: To create this theme, I took the overall melody & chord structure of the Zephyrite “Alas” song and reconstructed it into a high-energy dash, more of a triumphant cry to carry the Sanctum Sprinters on their accelerated sun dashes, wind jumps and lightning leaps. When Maclaine took it into the studio for mixing & mastering, he added some excellent little percussive touches, and even layered in some live guitar playing!

Primordus, the Elder Dragon of fire, needed music that reflected its harsh, elemental nature. The music is primarily driven by relentless heavy percussion in an odd meter. Woven into it are the howls and screeches of a traditional Finnish instrument called a jouhikko, representing the dragon's chaotic energy. The jouhikko has come to represent the Norn throughout the Icebrood Saga, and it only made sense to see how far we could push it in the fight with Primordus!

For Primordus's Champion, I wanted to bring all the work I've done for the Icebrood Saga together into one epic track. The melody from Spirits of the Wild is now played by a woodwind instrument called a fujara, which is both epic in size and has a lot of raspy overtones. It seemed perfect to represent the union of a big lunk like Braham and an elemental dragon.
