a song with phasers

Probably my personal favorite on the EP. It’s hard to tell, but the synth was actually made by importing a little part I cut out from Orgalorg into Harmor. The title and the sounds are inspired by the game “Wipeout”, which is a game that I played a lot when I was younger and that has always had a huge influence on my sound and my music taste.

This track is so different from what I make usually that I wouldn’t have felt confident enough to put it on my EP if it wasn’t for my wife absolutely loving it when I showed her and then the amazing feedback I got from you guys on instagram when I uploaded some work in progress clips. It’s my interpretation of modern melodic Riddim or something like that, kind of hard to fit it into a genre. I was experimenting with layering all kinds of samples and synths to work together and create one groove and I personally really like the breath of fresh air that it brings to the EP now that it’s all done and I’m listening back to it as a finished product.
