Phil Griffiths’ musical journey began after a last minute decision to attend Creamfields Festival back in 2000 and after witnessing DJ’s Paul Van Dyk,Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox and the like headlining he was hooked on Dance music. 

After spending most weekends in clubs like Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Passion and Slinky where Trance was the music of choice, Hard House and Hard Trance events soon followed with regular trips to Sundisential, Storm and Frantic. 

All these musical influences led to the inevitable and Phil decided to try his hand at learning to blend two tunes together and bought his first pair of decks in 2001 leading to various gigs over the next few years in his hometown of Swindon. 

Cut to the year 2020 and after a long break from playing out live in front of a crowd a group of friends decided to form Mid Life Krisis and inject a multi genre event into Swindon that had been missing for many years after the demise of many of the local clubs. Multiple events year on year has seen Mid Life Krisis grow from strength to strength and Phil has been lucky enough to hold a residency for the past 5 years performing locally and at such clubs as the Tunnel Club in Birmingham and festivals including Landed Festival and Illusive playing anything from Trance to Hard House to Techno.
