For my future self, 

I write this to you at 21 years old. In your last days, as you are lying in your final moments, think of me. I wrote this song for you. This is the soundtrack of a lifetime, a sonic time capsule for you to one day reflect on the beautiful life you have had the opportunity to live. I write this to you now in a stage of uncertainty. I don’t know what the future holds for our life. But regardless, I hope you have lived it to fullest and have made the world a better place.

"For more than one year I was not inspired to create music. I couldn’t hear anything in my head anymore, which left me feeling empty and upset. I felt I had lost an important and vital part of me. Music creation meant escaping from a harsh reality, finding my true self and the real place I belong to. Not being able to enter that world again made me feel lost, until one day, November 6th 2018, I discovered my mother was diagnosed with a stage IV deadly cancer.
That same night I needed to sit in front of my piano. 
I had been living only with my mother since my father left when I was 16. We had many hard moments, but managed throughout the years to find balance. 
That diagnosis messed up our lives again. 
I could clearly hear this melody in my head, the moments before rushing to the piano. 
A dark butterfly flying in the night sky appeared in my mind. Marvelous, elegant, brave yet so delicate and vulnerable flying in the dangers of the night. "


Music does not present us with a logical language, but it reveals the nature of feelings with a detail and truth that language cannot approach.(Langer, 1951)

Quiet Winter (improv) - Will Bedford - Glacier Keys

The 8Dio SQS (Studio Quartet Series) Solo Bass marks a new leap in sampling for us.  We recorded one of the greatest solo cellists alive today.  A principal cellist of the BBC and other orchestras.  Ultra Deep-Sampled with 88 articulations ranging from true polyphonic legato to a wealth of short-note options, dozens of velocity-based arcs, twelve different Ostinatos, and performance-based articulations.
