NEOWISE, the second dedicated release from Falsely Familiar is here. NEOWISE is the culmination of all of my interests, hopes and fascinations regarding space and space travel. This album is releasing on March 27th, 2021 for a reason; it's the one year anniversary of this album's namesakes discovery.

Generation Mars is written and themed so as to bring about a sense of hope for the newest generations to be the ones to reach the planet Mars.
Saturn V Alive pays homage to one of the greatest vehicles ever produced, a vehicle that put human beings on another celestial body.
Mare Vaporum is named after the landform on the Moon. I wanted to capture the ambient loneliness of the lunar surface but also the beauty of it.
Interplanetary is an upbeat track themed around the eventual achievement of humankind as an interplanetary species. It is also my first collaboration and I'm glad it was with such an amazing artist as @novmbr-2056. Thanks for collaborating with me on this one.
TRAPPIST-1 is named after the best candidate for life outside of the solar system. TRAPPIST-1 is a an extra-solar system. Almost every single planet in the system is within the habitable zone.
Jezero is named after the landing site of the Perseverance rover. 
Deorbit of Mir captures the moment that the Russian space station Mir was deorbited over the Pacific Ocean on March 23rd, 2001.
NEOWISE captures the feelings that I recieved after witnessing the comet NEOWISE for the first time. It was an extremely hard comet to find in the sky, but once I found it I could never not find it during it's window of visibility.
