Bio: 

Hot Shakes! is the alias used by Ricardo Beard as a House music producer & DJ. He is a well-formed musician who has successfully navigated the music scene in Mexico City, Los Angeles and Boston.

A Berklee College of Music graduate, he has skillfully mixed several genres in his productions such as Funk, House, Nu Disco, Deep House & Tech House. Under the guise of Mr. Beard, he launched The Reasons EP with German label Emerald and Doreen Records in 2014. Since then and under his new name, HS! has released a number of remixes for artists like Jacques Le Noir, Alex Midi, Funk My Jesus, Latona and Dirty Boodaz under labels such as Aftercluv (Universal Music – USA), Emerald & Doreen Records (Germany) & Deep Sense (Mexico).

He has played bars, clubs & events in Mexico City, Cancun & Los Angeles. Most recently he opened up for Los Angeles based heavyweights – Poolside. HS! just released his first original EP “What It’s About” under Everyday Hustlers Records (UK): https://www.traxsource.com/title/782455/what-its-about
