Trinity is a DJ, live performer and producer based in Sydney. Now celebrating her 20th year in music, she has earned the respect and love of fans, dancers and peers from Sydney to Berlin — and many destinations in between. With her diverse talents, tireless work ethic and uncompromising musical vision, Trinity has become a powerful and enduring presence in the world of techno.

She has shared stages with some of the biggest names in electronic music — billed alongside Richie Hawtin at the Vivid Sydney Festival at the Sydney Opera House, headlining Sydney’s world-famous Mardi Gras celebration, and performing at iconic venues and festivals including Tresor, Tomorrowland, and across Europe. Her musical journey has also taken her to New Zealand, India and Amsterdam’s famed Red Light Radio.

Each of Trinity’s live shows is defined by her versatility and depth — seamlessly moving from deep dub-techno, acid and electro through to peak-time techno, weaving a distinct and moving soundscape. She is also one-half of Phax Machine, her boundary-breaking live project with Analogue Resistance, where the duo dive into tougher breakbeat and classic rave sounds.

As a producer, Trinity’s recorded output includes collaborations with Luke Hess, Eric Cloutier, Headless Horseman and XDB, with releases finding their way into some of the world’s best record stores, including Berlin’s Hard Wax. She is also a partner in the Australian techno label Nightime Drama.

More recently, Trinity has focused on Sydney, bringing her sound to parties such as DUNJ, RAW, Hypno Sydney, The Chinese Laundry, The Abercrombie and Club 77 — playing alongside artists like Marcel Dettmann, Etapp Kyle, Phara and Forest Drive West.

IF? Records is Sebastian's most recent project, having taken it over from long time techno cohort Andrez Bergen aka Little Nobody, in 2010. IF? Records was established in Melbourne in 1995, has over 130 releases, and a roster that reads like a who's who of the underground in the last 15 years; James Ruskin, Aux 88, Ade Fenton, Si Begg, Dave Angel, Justin Berkovi, K. Alexi Shelby, Steve Stoll, BCR Boys, Justin Robertson, Thomas Heckmann, Jammin’ Unit and Inigo Kennedy, just to name a few.

Previously, Sebastian was best known for the part he played in pioneering techno in Beijing learning his craft as a resident DJ in the city's most infamous clubs, throwing parties on the Great Wall and touring China and Hong Kong. Also well established in his home town of Sydney, Sebastian has played all the best techno parties in last 10 years including Technikal, Beware the Cat, Subservice, Deep as Funk, Lost Baggage and Disconnected.

Sebastian's passion for techno began whilst at university in the UK where he promoted parties and collected vinyl. He has also written many words about electronic music, from feature articles and DJ profiles to gig and music reviews. He was notably editor at 3D World magazine in Sydney during its heyday at the end of the 90s. Sebastian has also worked for Point Blank Music College in the UK and Machine Musik in Australia teaching DJing and music production respectively. And still does the odd tutorial at Machine Musik when time allows. His production career began in 2007 with his debut release, on vinyl, reaching number 7 in the German Club Charts. No one was more surprised than him.

IF?, established in Melbourne (Australia) in 1995 and based in Tokyo, Japan, after relocating there in 2001, was a live gig and rave party organizer in Melbourne in the 1990s and one of Melbourne's first independent local electronic music labels. 

15 years later it's still hard at it and the label now has over 125 releases included in its discography.

Started by friends Andrez Bergen, Brian Huber and Mateusz Sikora in January 1995 (and more recently joined by Sebastian Bayne), IF? released its first compilation within just a few months, featuring a line-up of purely Melbourne-based, and mostly new, experimental electronic and techno producers - including Voiteck and Zen Paradox. 

Mixmag editor Dom Phillips nominated the Zeitgeist compilations at #4 in his choice of the Top 10 Melbourne-made records leading up to 1996. Zeitgeist (1995) and Zeitgeist 2 (1996) were repackaged and distributed internationally through Belgian label Nova Zembla, a subsidiary of Kk Records.

IF? subsequently released a dozen CDs, tapes and vinyl EPs prior to the shift to Japan -- all of which showcased local Melbourne producers, such as Little Nobody, Zen Paradox, Voiteck, Artificial, Honeysmack, Blimp, Son Of Zev, Soulenoid, Isnod, Guyver 3, TR-Storm, Q-Kontrol, Josh Abrahams, FSOM, David Thrussell, Mute Freak, Schlock Tactile, Beam Up, Brewster B, 8-Bit, Dee Dee, Digital Primate, and the LN Elektronische Ensemble.

IF? was also a founding member of M.U.K. (Melbourne Underground Konsortium) and the Sunblock collective of Australian underground electronic music labels.

Over the past 16 years the label has released debuts, tracks and remixes by a who's who of other essential Australian producers like Ben Mill, Sebastian Bayne, Kultrun, DJ Hi-Shock, Craig McWhinney, Black Lung, Koda, Enclave, Alkan, Funk Gadget, DJ Venom, Kid Calmdown, Rysh Paprota, Pnau, Pocket, 5000 Fingers Of Dr. T, Bitch Shift, Bill Hunter, Pat Stormont, and Cut Phobic.

Starting in the 1990s with German producers Thomas Heckmann, Jammin' Unit, Brixton and Biochip C, IF? has since worked with James Ruskin, Aux 88, Ade Fenton, Si Begg, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida, Wyndell Long, Dasha Rush, Luke's Anger, Donk Boys, Patrick Pulsinger, Dave Angel, Justin Berkovi, Ben Pest, K. Alexi Shelby, Paul Birken, Steve Stoll, BCR Boys, Bill Youngman, Voco Derman, Tal, Justin Robertson, Jason Leach (Subhead), Steve Cobby (Fila Brazillia), and Bas Mooy.

IWTFA is a Australian/Colombian collective out to produce sophisticated refined techno exposing local, interstate and international artists. This soundcloud site has been developed to showcase these artists in their true form expressing themselves with no boundaries in the field of techno. 

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city rapidly became more connected and culturally diverse than ever. For such a small space the city of Berlin holds enormous musical creativity evolving from all 4 corners of the European landscape.
After almost 3 decades, the sound of techno has become the lifeblood that runs so fiercely through its vibrant artistic veins.

OCTANE - Vigorous, forceful & intense, dynamic and high-powered sounds through Techno, Hard Techno, Rave, Raw, Industrial, Hard Dance, Tech & Everything in between. Expect some real high energy through different sounds at each event which we now call "OCTANE"
