Solis Occasum - Latin for "setting of the sun" or "sunset".

Living at the moment where the last embers of daylight fade beyond the horizon. A tapestry of vibrant colors streak across the sky before the impending onset of darkness. The space between day and night, where the structure and security of the sun gives way to a different energy, one that pulsates with an almost rhythmic, hypnotic calling. The anticipation for what awaits is, almost palpable.

It's an experience as music enthusiasts we have all shared in some form or another, together, unconsciously. We must make sure we, as a collective continue to collaborate, discuss and celebrate everything that music brings into our lives, especially during these challenging times.

K9's passion for music since childhood led him to study the violin. Along with his interest in electronics and technology, Kenan also studied the technical aspects of music. After discovering electronic music, he began to try himself in the genres of ambient, progressive house and techno. His sets were met with great interest from listeners of both local and international radio stations. Over time, k9 developed his own style of mixing music, aiming to present listeners with a unique atmosphere and theme in each set. Solis Occasum is a Toronto-based DJ specializing in progressive and organic house. Inspired by the city’s underground scene and the iconic Footwork nightclub, he developed a passion for music that balances melodic depth with driving grooves.

 His sets weave hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric textures, creating journeys that resonate on both intimate dance floors and expansive afterhours stages. With a refined ear for storytelling through sound, Solis Occasum continues to establish himself as a unique voice in the global underground.

We return to the fabled lands of Argentina, with a DJ now residing in Mexico. It's here where our guest has found the spotlight with his skills and crowd raising abilities. Please make some noise, for CASNIK! 

Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ/ Producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. Since he was a child he felt music in a special way. Nicolas began to experience everything he felt inside through movement, like Michael Jackson, taking dance classes and going through various musical genres to learn the essence of each one and understand the different states of mind.

During 2019, Casnik shared the booth at events with top-level national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, among others. He has also had a leading role in booths in other cities such as San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarria, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso.

In 2020 is where he began to connect with new genres such as Progressive House and Melodic House.

In 2021 Nicolas moved to Tulum, where he began to open new horizons and continue to fulfill his goals, playing in clubs in Playa del Carmen, Holbox and Tulum. It was here he had the pleasure of being part of the line up with international DJs such as the Pan Pot duo, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler among others.

In 2023, he focused on his development in the world of music production with releases in Mango Alley, Balkan Connection, Sunexplosion, 3rd Avenue among others, something he continues to be involved in to this day!

Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ and music producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. From a young age, music resonated with him in a profound way. He expressed these inner sensations through movement, drawing inspiration from the artistry of Michael Jackson, and pursued dance training while exploring diverse musical genres to grasp their core essence and the varied states of mind they evoke.

Born and raised in Markham just north of Toronto, Eric B has been and continues to be a passionate fan and student of the ever-evolving electronic music scene. Currently residing in Hamilton, the majority of his time is spent focused on curating tracks that help compliment and shape his sets, a cohesive and immersive collection of sounds that are meant to tell stories and spark an emotional response.

His brand of music has ranged from tech house, techno and minimal and has now shifted towards a more progressive, organic and deep format. With a firm belief in the idea that "You are always a student, never a master", Eric continues to look for ways to collaborate and learn from like-minded individuals across the industry.

Born in Toronto with Iranian roots, ARJ (IR) is an emerging DJ and producer who blends progressive and organic house with subtle Middle Eastern textures. Influenced by both traditional Persian sounds and the global pulse of electronic music, his foundation was built on a deep appreciation for cultural fusion and emotional soundscapes.

He is also the founder of Drift State, a Toronto-based collective dedicated to elevating house music within the city’s ever-growing scene. Focused on progressive and deep progressive house, Drift State showcases guest mixes from aspiring artists around the world and curates monthly events that bring together a passionate community to celebrate forward-thinking sounds.

Now making waves in Toronto’s underground circuit, ARJ (IR) continues to refine his artistry through captivating local sets and carefully crafted studio releases that resonate with a growing audience. Drawing inspiration from pioneers such as Hernán Cattáneo, Sébastien Léger, Guy J, and John Cosani, his sound bridges cultural heritage with modern electronic energy, creating a distinctive and emotive experience.
