Blue Hour Sounds and Sangoma Records are combining forces to bring you this very special double CD release. A cosmic fusion straight from our hearts that was grown out of mutual respect, admiration and friendship. These 19 previously unreleased tracks are rich in variety and reflect both our labels’ and personal tastes for contemporary psychedelia. Artists from all over the world contributed to this project and this release is filled with special collaborations and remixes. Music has been a big part of our life and has affected and touched us all in many ways - but the music industry and festival-circus can also be like a tank full of sharks with huge blown up egos and superficial people. Therefore it is important to stay focused on the positive side, the people we meet who enrich our lives and give us the feedback and motivation to continue in good spirit. “ When you want to go fast, go alone. We're proud to finally share our brand-new compilation '2nd Grade', the follow-up to our debut release 'Early Intervention'.

With this compilation of 10 tracks we want to depict the current state of our still young label and the development we went through during the last 3 years. After the Early Intervention we're now situated in 2nd Grade, where we learn, grow up and build our label's identity. What started as a small group of friends and music enthusiasts grew to a lovely little family of artists that helps and support each other on their life paths.

Again, we combined tracks of well-established artist friends with some of the creations of our own label residents, including several collaboration tracks. After about 2 years of compiling this one, we're happy to share it with the world!
