Groningen-based DJ Verity Jackson has been making serious waves over the past months. From playing at radio stations like Relate Radio and Future Intel to rocking crowds at Oost and Kopjek, hard hitting tunes are a certainty. This is a very special mix for me, as this is the culmination mix of this wild, wild year. I started DJing in my current home city of Berlin in June this year and had the honour of playing at some amazing venues, parties and festivals during this short span of time. I feel so blessed and so thankful to each and every individual who gave me these amazing opportunities and to all those who came to see me play. You guys are the best! <3

This is a hi-speed mix of electro, techno, IDM and house traxxx which I absolutely adore. Visits to venues such as ://about blank, Berghain and my personal favourite, Tresor, inspired me to create this multi-genre mix. This is how I plan to go forward, mix all my favourite music regardless of genres because one should never limit themselves in any way.

Pepe Garrido aka @Fuunkt is an electronic music producer and Dj who creates bespoke music that draws from his background as a jazz, r&b and rock drummer. 
 
With Andalusian roots, Fuunkt developed his career and sound in Barcelona, where he studied drum performance and devoted himself full time to playing, touring and recording in many diverse bands. 
At the age of 27, he began focusing his career in electronic music which eventually brought him to Berlin in 2020, where he started to release his own music with Ninefont Records (2021) and Blechtrommel Records (2023). His first solo album “Frenzy” will be released this year by the label Diffuse Reality. 
Using steady greasy riffs and dreamy percussion, Fuunkt pulls from elements of his biggest influences: Techno, Funk and African music, to shape his sound and build his sets.
