For Hip-Hop artist “Eyeslow Jones,” being ambitious and choosing to push on even during the raw moments of life was his predestination. Born in Minot, North Dakota, to one of the airmen of the U.S. Airforce, Jones’ family moved to England when he was just two. After just a year, his parents divorced, which led to him moving to Illinois back in the U.S. since then, he has lived in a couple of cities, including; Davenport, Iowa, Mississippi, San Antonio, tx, and so many others. For most of his childhood, Jones lived in Illinois, Iowa, and San Antonio. Growing up around scarcity, he was lured into the misfortunes of robbery, breaking into houses, colleges, and stealing from cars just to make ends meet. This did not last too long till his mother shipped him off to live with his father permanently while in 10th grade year of high school due to the fear of losing her child to the streets. However, the choice did not win over his earlier inherited street life. Even with the desire to make himself better through joining the basketball team at his school, he kept on being in and out of the streets, mainly in the party animal stage of any teenager.
