Anybody who’s been following Selected. over the past few years will know how fond we are of Nu Aspect and his steady stream of first-rate studio output. Since debuting on our YouTube channel back in March 2017 with Things I Said, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome back the Bristol-based producer time and time again for a slew of majestic hits including Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head and Run Deep. Now, returning to Selected for one last time in 2021, the prolific British talent looks to close out the year with a bang as he drops his latest musical masterpiece Something Real. A perfectly executed house cut from a producer at the very top of his game, infectious vocal hooks, melodic basslines and shuffling drum patterns shine front and centre, as Sam pulls out all the stops to lay down a warm and fuzzy deep house banger of impressive proportions. When four artists of this quality join forces, you know the end product is going to be rather special. The production mastermind behind the 2019 international mega hit Pieces, German multi-instrumentalist and certified platinum composer AVAION has been making serious with his hypnotizing sound, combining futuristic basslines, uplifting beats, self-played instruments and melancholic vocal rap to create an undoubtedly unique writing style.

A bona fide hit-making machine, Bristol-based producer Sam Higgins — or Nu Aspect as he’s more commonly known in electronic music circles — is a man on a mission.
