Sydka - Lust

This is my set from Mystic Creatures Festival 2025, on the opening night of the festival. 

After a summer filled with intense experiences, I was so looking forward to close the circle and to share with you some slower sounds - music to let all creatures drift gently into a soft arrival on this beautiful island.

Seeing so many people arrive and step into their first moments of the festival during my set was truly magical. It felt like a reunion of many old and new friends, all gathering to kick off a wonderful weekend together. 
I’m deeply grateful for everyone who joined this journey. Your presence and support mean so much to me, and this memory will stay with me. ❤️

It has been a while I last started a set at 90bpm, and wow it felt amazing! This set is a mix of deep and warm sound, with a pinch of weirdness, navigating through the slower music spectrum. Taking a small detour to some more groovy tunes and to minimal vibes, before heading back to cuddly atmosphere this stage was calling for. Almost each and every track hold a strong emotional meaning for me and I am so happy how it all came together

And of course, true to my habit, I closed the set with a little surprise ;) 
- and yes, the closer is purposely louder !

Farn @ Mystic Creatures Festival 2025

After a creative break, we’re excited to return with a new chapter of our podcast series. For this restart, we’re especially delighted to have our dear friend @pulli_music on board.

Her sound has inspired us for a long time, which makes it all the nicer to present her set from this year’s Mystic Creatures Festival as our latest down.cast episode.

Closing sets are always special. For some reason, this one felt a bit extra special. 
On this beautiful monday afternoon in the Creatures Corner of Mystic Creatures Festival 2025, we had the honour once again. During epic 3 hours, with bits of rain and many moments of sunshine, many kisses and hugs were exchanged, there were loads of laughing faces and a few tears on the dancefloor. While the birds were forming on the sky for a final dance before moving south, the crowd was pulsating in their last big wave of dancing energy, at the end of about 100 hours of music, surrounded by sparkly bubbles and mystical fog. At one point, the giant cauldron in the middle of the floor, that spit bubbles in the day and fire at night, started to overflow with mountains of foam, that was flying through the air and over the dancefloor like fluffy clouds  while people were smudging themselves - the whole scene became so bizarre in a hilarious way - we will certainly never forget this!
We are deeply grateful to all of you on the floor, our loved ones and friends, and of course the whole mystic crew. 
What a wonderful vibe we created together!

Creatures Corner Closing @ Mystic Creatures Festival 2025

Burning Man 2025 | Paul Traeumer | Bipolar Express, Nevada

This was a really special one for me. 
Having been at the festival from Friday onwards already, it was way more than just a quick in & out festival gig.. Playing on this unique island for the 3rd year, there was a feeling of home and belonging that I felt on stage. I knew the audience trusted me, and I trusted everyone to follow me and go along with whatever quirky twists and turns I would go towards.. and all this under the crazy nature spectacle of a Lunar Eclipse. phew :)

I didn't plan to record and publish this set at all.. but it was such a special and beautiful moment that when I heard that a recording exists, I didn't want to keep it from you <3 

Thank you so much to everyone dancing, to the organizers of Mystic Creatures who work tirelessly to bring this magic to life year after year and to all the other amazing artists who enriched this weekend with their music.

Happy to share the recording of my live set from Sunday 8 am at Mystic Creatures’ Creatures Corner stage. 
This is (for the most part) the same set I’ve been performing throughout the summer, and i’m suuuuperrr excited to share it with you finally! 😻

It’s hard to put into words the gratitude I feel when I get to share my music live. To move something in you is a dream come true. 🥹
Closing out the summer in that cozy corner, surrounded by dancing friends, warm smiles, and the soft morning sun, was truly magical.

Have you ever wondered how many subgenres there have been in our scene since 2010? 5, 10 or 20? Do you remember when there were no pure downtempo productions? It felt like an eternity looking for downpitchable songs that also fitted together stylistically, didn't it? ...
I'm a real fan of so many different subgenres of electronic music – I could listen to them all day! And every now and then, I like to mix things up and try something new. At the end, I am thrilled to say that I understand and feel 'arkadiusz' more as a music project! Especially during podcast collaborations I try something new and special. 

As a performing club DJ I am focused on two amazing directions: Slow and fast, or as I like to say: Hypnodream and Hypnodance!
