Arkasia's rise to the upper echelons of the EDM world has been nothing short meteoric. Arkasia's music fronts a level of maturity and understanding all too rarely seen in the EDM world. A sublime sense of space, structure and flow gives his sound a refreshing point of difference. Arkasia's musical calling came at the tender age of five when he mastered the violin, and continued well into his teens, where he was composing mini-operas by age 15.  His broad musical roots and experience playing in both orchestras and metal bands is evident throughout his compositions, however his creations reach far beyond the realms of Classical and Metal, IDM, Dubstep and Drum&Bass into uncharted territories!  Coming off the heels of a feature song in the movie Elysium and the his recent smash EP  "Orbit EP", Arkasia is back with "Electronic Symphony", a 12 track album which exemplifies his diverse grasp of powerful composition, rich textural depth and an unrivaled vision for new electronic music with no limits!

Obsidia Ft. CoMa - Take Me

     Arkasia began playing violin at age 5. By age 10 he play with an orhestra and by 12 was collaborating on the creation of mini-operas. A self-taught drummer in a metal band by 2000 he began to compose electronic music founding the ADAPTEK's collective with two friends. This collab led to the creation of the band ANTROPOD and the live performance infoumasly known as Polakatek. He left the collective in 2008 to pursue his own projects.

      His influences include classical, speedcore, breakcore, dnb, trip hop metal and more. Some of the biggest influences are Venetian Snares, Aphex Twin, Meshuggah, Bjork, Autechre etc... Those influences can be felt a lot in his compositions, trying to mix a maximum of those style into one direction. 

     In 2011 he began approaching Dubstep trying to create something new and personal with heavy distorted basses, gabber-like synths melodies with the very melodic foundation.
