Subtle Mental Mechanics is the first solo album of AVVI (Vital Avtushkov).

Vital believes in higher cosmic intelligence, stars show us the way and give us protection, this is an attempt to communicate with them.

As a rupture to the work done with Mono’ono explores new music directions and develops a very individual language, influenced by minimal, dub, ambient, the use of live instruments and research done in the integration of noise.

Vital went back to his natal village in Belarus to open himself and work on this album, which is a journey into the very personal history of his life, reflecting past and present.

Subtle Mental Mechanics is an invitation.

Az utóbbi hetekben megjelent első szerzői albuma majd első önálló debütálása után Eril Fjord máris egy újabb; friss felvétellel jelentkezik a USOB második részeben. A meglepetés része, hogy a stúdióban rögzített live act mindenféle utómunkát mellőz. A közel egy órás felvétel improvizatív módon saját munkákból, analóg szintetizátorokból és samplerekből egyöntetűen építkezik. A kortárs elektronika és a modern techno bűvös házassága, alkalmanként kimérten ugyanakkor szabadon installálva. Gondos kezek által faragott kivételesen egyedi hangzás, nem mindennapi koncepcióban tálalva.

Underground Sound Of Budapest 002 Eril Fjord

Formed in January 2009, Girls Names quickly garnered recognition outside of the confines of their hometown of Belfast with the release of their eponymous debut EP in 2010 through New York's Captured Tracks. A mini-album through London imprint Tough Love soon followed, setting the foundations for their critically acclaimed debut LP Dead To Me, released in April last year again by Tough Love in Europe and cult West Coast label Slumberland Records in the US. Earlier this year the band released a split 7” with Weird Dreams and contributed with a new single called ‘A Troubled See' that saw them spread far and wide.
 
Girls Names are now hinting at making their boldest and most exciting record to date. New single 'The New Life' clocks in at over 7 minutes and takes you on a journey that mirrors the feelings of a band living and working in economy stricken Northern Ireland - the perfect soundtrack of the bleakness to where they exist. The B-side on the 12” is a J D Twitch Optimo remix of the single.
 
This year the band expanded to a four-piece and has spent the last six months in virtual seclusion honing and developing a more progressive and expansive sound, feeding on the darker sides of Echo and The Bunnymen, Spacemen 3, The Birthday Party and David Bowie's Low before heading off on a triumphant Spring/Summer European tour culminating on their biggest and most successful shows to date at the prestigious Primavera sound festival in Barcelona.
 
A new full length is currently being finished off but for now it seems Girls Names are intent on making a lasting impression with single 'The New Life'. It certainly feels as though the band is ready to enter a new phase in their existence and they’re not afraid to take risks.
 
The band has also announced they will be playing a show in London on 26th October with Weird Dreams @ Birthdays.

Our family member, Nicholas Deca, presents his latest weapons in his new Raspicat EP at Tzinah Records. With a smashing attitude Nicholas delivers two bomb tracks with smoothy rhythms. Seems that this time he fell in love with his snares extracting all possible equations from them.  'Adunare' can be the main track to get the party going while in 'Drumu cu Fum' you will get into a more dramatic atmosphere, but again his snares will bring out the right energy. For remixing “Adunare” we’ve asked Leon from Italy, who basically needs no introduction. His remix is deep and smooth and it's really touching our sound, taking all the important elements from 'Adunare' and mixing them in his own unique style, resulting in nothing but a wonderful track.  The second remix comes from our close friend and Tzinah artist, Blagoj Rambabov, who had recently also released at Artefac. In his specific production style Blagoj takes the original groove and transforms  it in his own weapon. The real experience begins right after you press play.
