We’re proud to present our new compilation “First Light”, released in conjunction with our extended family Mellow Orange. Spanning 23 tracks, the compilation features some of the freshest and most innovative talent in the Hip Hop and Instrumental Beat scenes from around the globe.

From the 8bit inspired synths of Submerse’s “Makise’s Blips” to the boom-bap drums of Dutchy’s “This Could Be Us” and the jazz excursions of Mecca:83’s “Open”: First Light documents the diversity and constantly expanding sound of the scene. We think it’s one of our finest releases to date and we hope you do too.

“Written and recorded on one evening, in one take, with no intended structure or patterns - as a translation of my own feelings at that precise moment.”

The project aims to compartmentalize the listener’s own current, everyday thoughts and emotions while they listen. 

The music represents the listener’s emotions and gives them the space to feel comfortable and at ease.

'Never Find Love' by Fomeo is part of RISING TIDES 013, a collection of music dedicated to shining light on artists with less recognition than they deserve, each with under 500 followers on SoundCloud, so be sure you support the artists and show them some love.

RISING TIDES 013 will be released gradually throughout March of 2019. A new song from the album will be posted on the SVNSET WAVES SoundCloud every Wednesday and Saturday/Sunday until the final release of the album on March 30th.
