Ernes serves up a juicy, dark and deep original for us.

The third part of the series serves as an intellectual, emotional, and visionary installment of the conceptually crafted material. Guy J, as with each of his releases, challenges the status quo and expands the boundaries of musical expression. Through nearly eighteen minutes of meditative music, this release delves deeper into abstraction and cerebral exploration while maintaining a connection to human emotions.
In late 2023, the release of the first part of Drifting Memory heralded a new chapter for Armadillo Records. Guy, renowned for his stellar career in producing drum-based dance music, decided to reduce his sonic palette to drumless music. This reduction doesn't adhere to the classical minimalist form as critics often define it. Instead, his expression is distilled into free-pitch synthesizer sounds, reflecting the personal vision of escapism through the art form. Drifting Memory Part 3 offers music suitable for deep relaxation and meditation or as an ideal soundtrack for uncharted interstellar exploration.

Unaware of the shifting economic tides elsewhere in the solar system, a small robot continued to work. He checked the growth of largest specimen, adjusted the nutrient cycle, and moved on to the next. The damp scent of fertiliser hung in the air, a spark of life against the cold steel and plastic which surrounded the endless rows of plants. 

Not that anyone had been around to notice for decades, the hermetically sealed hallways of Genesis II had been abandoned long ago.

Satisfied – as much as an autonomous machine could register such an emotion – the robot flicked a switch on the control panel, noting his progress in the station’s logbook.
