We are delighted to have Timur Gabrilyan, also known as Taleman, as our first guest of the year 2024 on LUX CAST.

About Artist:

Taleman is an exceptionally talented DJ and music producer from the vibrant city of Moscow, Russia. He has a strong passion for creating and playing music, and he started his journey into the world of music production in 2011.

Throughout his career, Taleman has explored various genres and styles, ranging from deep, soulful house to the organic, earthy tones of his signature sound. He has released his works on labels such as Amulanga, Where The Shadow Ends, Flug Lab, Souksonic, Delysid, Skytop, Akbal Music, For Senses Records, The Purr , Suprematic and many more. He also has an impressive EP album on Chuvstvo Ritma Rec & a debut vinyl release on the renowned Amulanga, an independent record label founded in 2019 by Modd and Ventt. Inspired by his previous successes, Taleman launched his own record label, "Try To Find Sound," in 2020.

This mix showcases his unique flair for the organic house genre. He has carefully chosen a selection of tracks, most of which are his own, to offer listeners a special experience that is both original and captivating. This tribute highlights Shai Tibi aka Shai T, who embarked on his musical journey at the age of 9 from his Tel Aviv home. An adept multi-instrumentalist and accomplished performer, music has always been Shai's unwavering passion. 

As his talent gained global recognition, his DJ performances transcended borders, turning him into a renowned international artist gracing prestigious venues worldwide. 

Over a decade of commercial releases has marked his evolving production career, reached a turning point in 2018 with the standout track "Believe" featured in the influential "Summer Sol" series, a defining moment for the Sol Selectas imprint.

A Part Of My Soul

The third part of the series serves as an intellectual, emotional, and visionary installment of the conceptually crafted material. Guy J, as with each of his releases, challenges the status quo and expands the boundaries of musical expression. Through nearly eighteen minutes of meditative music, this release delves deeper into abstraction and cerebral exploration while maintaining a connection to human emotions.
In late 2023, the release of the first part of Drifting Memory heralded a new chapter for Armadillo Records. Guy, renowned for his stellar career in producing drum-based dance music, decided to reduce his sonic palette to drumless music. This reduction doesn't adhere to the classical minimalist form as critics often define it. Instead, his expression is distilled into free-pitch synthesizer sounds, reflecting the personal vision of escapism through the art form. Drifting Memory Part 3 offers music suitable for deep relaxation and meditation or as an ideal soundtrack for uncharted interstellar exploration.
