Baltimore x Jersey x Ghetto House feel. I made this for all my club heads. My first time making something like this but I really got a love for Club music growing up in New Jersey and seeing it come to the world is amazing but I always will give respect and homage to where it came from. People like Frank Ski, Rod Lee, DJ Technics, DJ Boobie, K-Swift, Miss/Big Tony and many more who helped put Baltimore Club music on the map as far as my Jersey people go shoutout to DJ Tameil, Tim Dolla (RIP), DJ Wallah and many more. Respect to Dance Mania, Ray Barney, the late great Paul Johnson, DJ FUNK (RIP), Traxman, DJ Deeon (RIP), Jammin' Gerald, Slugo and many more too! ARMANDO X. fka DJ DS is a New Jersey-born DJ, vocalist, and producer whose musical lineage comes from a long line of New Jersey based Soulful House producers, DJs and vocalists from the likes of Romanthony, Tony Humphries, Kerri Chandler, & JoVonn. 

Now based in Richmond, X. cut his teeth in New York City's underground scene, holding vinyl residencies at 320 Club and Hi-Note Radio while spinning at basement parties, low lit lofts, and after hours spaces across the city.

His sound blends disco melodies, Roland drum machines, raw vocals, and gritty edits that leave people on the dancefloor in a sweat drenched trance. Sexy, percussive, and unpredictable, ARMANDO X. builds dance floors that feel like a church in a basement - all body, no judgment - where everyone is welcome.
