ABOUT THE EP - FROM DANNY:
"The serpent devouring its own tail, the ancient symbol otherwise known as the "Ouroboros" has been used to represent the great cycles, and also infinity, or unity. This symbol came to mind in a different manner of inspiration for me though. Darkness, or the path of evil, is one that will always inevitably consume itself. Much like cancer seeks to live on, mindlessly unaware of the fact that it will destroy its host in its dissonant existence with its environment. Selfishly seeking to thrive at the cost of the body in an out of control and toxic manner. Evil or the forces of decay, entropy, and destruction are overly prevalent in our world today. This album is an inspiration of this observation. I do believe we face this battle within ourselves daily and also in the global mind of humanity. To continue the path of darkness and corruption as a species, is to live dissonantly in our environment, and we truly will become the serpent who devours its own tail and consumes itself."

We are very excited to announce the release of Sentinel Awake, the follow up album to Driven Beyond Broken by Mark Nolan. These 12 tracks leave nothing behind with start to finish intensity, action and drama. Sophisticated hybrid sound design elements and urgent choral and orchestral melodies tell a story of treachery, hope, destruction, desire and renewal. Each track builds upward, as if with infinite capacity, creating the heart-pounding, hair-raising, unadulterated adrenaline high you've been waiting for. Don't miss out!

From Mark: "I get a lot of inspiration from great looking trailers. I often go to an existing trailer to help inspire the direction I may go with a piece of music. After that, I'm inspired by anything that makes my head move, and gives me goose bumps. If I'm starting a piece of music, and it emotes that for me, then I continue on that path.
For my second album, I wanted to keep the same energy as my first album by using a lot of big drums, great synths and sound design, but I also wanted it to go to a different emotional place. I tried to achieve that with more developed melodies throughout, with more use of strings, brass, voice and keys."

Hello there! I am a 23 years old dreamer, composer and music producer based in Germany. Since May 2017 I am part of IMAscore, where I score countless projects everyday.

My musical journey began when I was 12 years old and when I first started listening to epic music. I was so fascinated that, shortly after, I began tinkering with the iOS App "GarageBand", which triggered my interest in the process of creating music and sound in a playful, childlike manner of course.

After graduating from school I immediately decided to fully dedicate my life to music production. I didn't have the best gear or skills, but I loved doing it and shared my works on a few digital platforms. I started getting better, making a little money, networking with other composers, and buying gear and software to refine my sound. Over time I gained millions of listeners all across the web with my alias „Thunderstep Music“.  
I began to grasp that living off of music was a real possibility. However, I never anticipated that it could happen so early. I am very grateful for this opportunity, and I won't deny the power of luck and good timing: With IMAscore I reached my goal at age 19 – right when I was thinking about studying microbiology and when it was still a good time to become a university student.

Sometimes I still long for a degree in a scientific field, as my ultimate dream is to become an astronaut, but maybe I can save up for a space-tourist ticket in the near future by just keeping on making music.
