Armen Miranian AKA Armen Miran's love and passion for electronic music genres started at a very young age; spending the majority of his time at underground music scenes. His biggest influences include - Pink Floyd, Klaus Schuze, Pete Namlook, Depeche Mode and Eloy to name a few. In 2006, Armen began his journey producing electronic ambient and dark techno sounds. Fast forward to 6 years later, he was booked for his very first gig at Armenia's well known underground venue called Calument, where he left the crowd speechless with his ambient and deep house tunes. It wasn't long before Armen Miran became the name and face of Armenia's underground music scene. In 2013, Armen was awarded the "Top 5 DJ" award at The Techno Art Festival where he played a live b2b set with Evans Deep. With such great feedback and the level of appreciation from listeners, Armen and Evans Deep collaborated and formed "The Monolog." The Monolog played their first live set for a radio station which paved their way to traveling to different countries, giving them a delicious taste of their deep and dark sounds. Recently, Armen Miran decided to call Los Angeles his home. Keep an eye and most importantly an "ear" out for his new and original productions and massive projects in the works that are soon to be released...You are definitely in for a treat!

Saeed Aman is a producer and DJ from Tehran, currently based in Florence. He started his career in 2013 and has ever since shared stage with likes of Mashrou’ Leila, Karpov not Kasparov, Arash Khalatbari, Narcy and ... His sets have an underground clubby mood spiced up with groovy Middle Eastern, African and South American toppings! Since 2014 he has been running a special podcast project for the Middle East Now Festival called “Sound Middle East Now”, focusing on fresh indie tunes from the Middle East and North Africa. His Tehran Night mix is a colorful cross-continent laid-back housy one featuring two of his own previously unheard productions.

Da Künstler bei sound(ge)cloud auch mal was Verrücktes wagen dürfen/sollen haben wir uns zusammengesetzt und überlegt wie wir das umsetzen wollen. Da wir beide einen besonderen Fabel für ältere elektronische Klassiker hegen, also jene Tracks die uns in unser elektronischen Erziehung entscheidend mit geprägt haben, kamen wir sehr schnell überein ein Set aus eben jenen 'alten Schinken' zu mixen. Das Ergebnis zeigt einmal mehr das wirklich gute Musik kein Ablaufdatum besitzt und zeitlos ist.

Happy new year, my friends.
Given the nature of my gigs and timeslots over the last few months, I've been buying and playing a lot of "club music" which has been reflected in the sets I've been releasing. I love playing dance floor tunes, but I'm still collecting music I love that's fit for at-home listening, opening slots, and afterhours...most of which has been sitting untouched in my music collection these last few months.

So it's been nice taking the time to do this studio mix that dusts off the tunes that haven't been getting any love. The glitchy, ambient, lofi-housey, and minimal stripped grooves. Some things that are slightly different than what I've been playing, slightly different than what you've been hearing. Hope you dig.
