The main purpose in making music is that i’m trying to share the beauty of the world this way… 
Translated from sanskrit, Maiia means magic, illusion, power, fruit of cosmic creativity. 
Maiia Project is harmoniously combination the sounds of an ancient instruments and modern electronic in her music. The project was founded in 2006 by Alla Vagner (dj Maiia). The debut release was in January 2008. In 2009 Namaha Records releases the first mini-album of Maiia – Forest Magic. In April 2011 label from Canada, Altar Records, releases the first full-length album of Maiia – Sacred Knowledge of Ancient Civilizations. Second album, Primrose, releases in 2012. In the same year Ovnimoon Records releases 3d album, Shakti. In September 2014 the same label releases fourth album of the project with fresh sound – Maiia303 – Sky In Diamonds. 
On regular basis Maiia records conceptual dj sets mixing various styles of downtempo. Her music is being broadcasted in multiple radio shows around the globe. Maiia is an often guest at the world’s largest electronic music online radio station Di dot FM in USA. 
In 2009 Alla assembles her ethno psy chill band for live performances. The band inherits the name of its leader Maiia. Alla acts as the band’s music author and producer. In addition to various synthesizers, many of Alla’s recordings feature sounds of live instruments and vocals. Maiia Project also collaborates with different dance groups for creating special shows for every live performance. 
In 2014 Alla together with Edward Cybered launches a label Mystic Sound Records, releasing a music of such well-known producers as Slackbaba, Globular, Radiactive Sandwich, ManMadeMan, Chilled C’Quence, Kanc Cover, Chronos, Taruna and many more.

“1995 - Echoes of Trance” is the next single from Astral Waves, also known as DJ Zen, on Altar Records.
This release arrives as a special anniversary celebration.

Thirty years ago, DJ Zen first discovered trance music through friends returning from the legendary beaches of Goa, India, a moment that changed everything. This new single was created in honor of that memory, keeping the unmistakable old-school vibe of mid-90s trance alive and glowing.

A heartfelt tribute to the sound that started it all, 1995 - Echoes of Trance celebrates three decades of passion, inspiration, and an unwavering love for electronic music.

Three decades later, DJ Zen still walks that path with joy and devotion.
This single is a love letter to the origins of trance, to the early Goa magic, and to the timeless feeling that music can transform a life forever.

The vocal sample in "1995" mentioning "ecstasy" is not a reference to drugs. Instead, it describes the natural state of intense bliss and spiritual connection experienced through dancing—a pure "trance-and-dance" feeling.

StarLab is a project initialised by Bharat from New Delhi, India. Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharat at a very early age. Over the years, as a self taught Vocalist, Bass & Guitar player he gathered a wealth of experience touring and recording with his band for over a decade until he encountered the hypnotic sound of Psychedelic Trance Music at a beach party in Goa, India. This strongly affected his musical persona after which he began to teach himself synthesis & music production and project StarLab was born. In 2011 he went to California USA to study music and quickly became a popular DJ in the California scene and gained a lot of experience playing many local parties and festivals. On returning to India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label Digital Om Productions as Live Act and since then he has gone on to make countless releases with the most well known record labels and perform in top festivals and venues in India and around the world in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Portugal, France, Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand, Nepal. These include Main Stage performances in famous festivals such as Universo Paralello – Brazil, Antaris Project- Germany, Shankra Festival- Switzerland, Exit Festival- Serbia, Electric Daisy Carnival – India, Sunburn Festival – Goa, Universal Religion – Nepal, Experience – Thailand and many more. StarLab has released music with renowned labels such as Digital Om, IONO Music, Techsafari, TesseracTstudio, Sacred Technology and also selected by ASTRIX for his VA compilation Book of Changes on Future Music Records.

WITH MORE THAN 15 YEARS IN PSYTRANCE, JOE MARKENDALE AKA SONIC SPECIES TENACITY AND TALENT COMBINED HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR CARVING HIS UNIQUE SOUND AND RELENTLESS RISE TO THE TOP OF THE MUSIC SCENE THAT HE LOVES THE MOST. SONIC SPECIES’ POSITION AS A FIGUREHEAD OF THE GENRE AND AS A GLOBAL AMBASSADOR OF UK TRANCE IS UNDENIABLE.

The photograph I chose was taken at some party in some place at some time in some parallel universe when there were still parties. Nowadays when at least 3 major pharmaceutical companies developed a vaccine, finally a year after this disaster I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's pray that in 2021 we'll see parties & photographs like this emerge back from the void
