October saw the re-release of PQM’s “You Are Sleeping” with a huge remix from Matador. What we didn’t tell you is that Matador actually made two, and the second is just as powerful as the first! Having become a staple in Matador’s recent sets, his Live mix propels its way through multiple driving basslines, dark atmospheres and of course, the classic’s haunting vocal. 

Then, discovered from the depths of the Yoshi catalogue, is Miss Nine's remix, a gem produced a few years back that was ahead of its time. The mix fits nicely with whats going on today on the more melodic side of Tech House with a rolling bassline and Miss Nine’s distinct style. 

On the first bundle, we remastered and rereleased Luke Chable’s iconic remix - now we give you the original Deephead Pass. Softer fare than Chable's, this deep classic has an eerie, tribal quality that has cemented itself in the annals of dance music history.

Truly one of the highlights of our past discography is LTN & Roni Joni's triumphant "In Between", a track that was kindly featured by Armin van Buuren at A State Of Trance 650 (Utrecht), amongst other leading global radio shows. We're thrilled to present brand new remixes by two other leading lights on our imprint: Sound Quelle (Russia) and eleven.five (USA).

Sound Quelle once again has tapped his bottomless well of musical inspiration for an exhilarating, peak-hour take. His remix gorgeously enhances the original chords, courtesy of a variety of symphonic touches to the soundscape, as well as various uplifting side melodies. In the main break, beautiful strings are met by a piano rendition of the main theme, which remains timeless and breathtaking.

eleven.five, fresh off of his thrilling contribution to Silk Royal Showcase 05 ("Thank You"), is another acclaimed veteran talent, who, like Sound Quelle, can deliver unforgettable remixes in any genre. Known for dynamic basslines and simple, yet sophisticated main melodic themes, eleven.five kicks off his interpretation with one of his finest grooves to date. As the track progresses, a hypnotic arpeggio -- another artist signature -- later unites with the ethereal vocal stabs from the original mix. The climactic breakdown showcases the American sensation's uncanny talent for crafting emotive soundscapes, buttressed by a powerful and exceptionally mixed low end.

The second of three EP installments from his forthcoming artist album Degeneration, Sean Tyas returns with another forward thinking, ambidextrous slice of cutting edge music. Three unique records possessing the trademark Degenerate attitude and punch. Degeneration EP Volume 1 gave you straight up 140 tech (Way Down in Mexico), techno (9am) and breaks (Swarm) of the highest order, and here in this second chapter we present a full on psychedelic masterpiece in the form of Vagabond, a heads down hard and unrelenting techno battering-ram that is Ambush and the sublime, movie-esque, liquid drum & bass soundscape - Diffuse. Few manage to express themselves so successfully, so effectively across multiple genres while still retaining a tight grip on their roots and their core sound. Once again Sean shows us that he while he is an entity that refuses to be pigeon-holed - he is able to explore all sides to his repertoire without raising any eyebrows. He is a true master of his studio and the tools contained therein and so why regurgitate when this ability drives you to innovate? The story of The Degenerate continues…

Venetian duo Veerus & Maxie Devine are somewhat of underground heroes. Their near decade-long tear of consistently well-received dance cuts has culminated in releases for labels like Suara and Kittball (just to name a few), and now Yoshitoshi, although this is not their first release on the label. In 2014 label boss Sharam's single My Way was brilliantly remixed by the duo, which went on to become a mainstay in the boxes of many big DJ's. Now they are set to release the first of two original EP’s for Yoshitoshi.

First up is Rab Bit, a funky tech house jam with emphasis being on FUNKY! The groove drives unyieldingly as intermittent vocal cuts and MPC-style chopped samples jump in and out, making this a fun and audacious record that crowds will adore.

Banzai is a more driving and darker textural techno record built around a murky bassline and hypnotic breakdowns. 

Watch out for the uproar when these cuts are dropped.

Veerus & Maxie Devine - Rab Bit (Out Now)

Airwave delivers an injection of psy to Bonzai Progressive with the superb Lightyears Away From Here which is backed up with the sublime breaks track Dancing Desperado. This guys still knows how to wow his audience, even after almost 20 years he always finds new sounds and new ways to craft those sounds into powerful musical constructions. This one comes after two huge releases, namely Vega Shining on BP and the emotionally charged Sadness In Black And White on the mighty JOOF. An inspiration to us all, we look forward to more from this guy, but in the meantime play this one loud.


Dancing Desperado is one of those special Airwave breaks tracks that seem to capture the essence of sound beautifully, due in part to the way the track is constructed, with expert precision. We begin with a cinematic atmosphere full of deep drones and bright piano melodies alongside subtle drums. Huge swathes of synths bring the intro to a climax and we are left with a solid breaks arrangement that will definitely get floors moving to the groove. The lead sound takes on a fantastic Mediterranean vibe as plucky strings converge over those strong pads that send shivers down your spine with every key change. Heading towards the end of the track we get a scathing psy fuelled acid line thrown in that tops the groove off nicely. Top notch stuff that you'll not want to miss.
