Supported by artists such as Darzack, Elliot Adamson, Laurent Garnier, Pilú is an artist driven by the color of feelings that he claims through his soaring and melancholic melodies. His releases, which oscillate between styles with only one key word: symbiotic eclecticism, are proof of this.

With this new EP, Faux-Départ, the Parisian artist tells us a new story full of hope and disillusion. This emotional roller coaster starts at 20,000 feet above us, like the birth of a dreamy and illusory love caused by the altitude or the lack of oxygen. A passion brought back to the harsh reality of the earth, to memories that lose their flavor and to unshared desires for elsewhere.

What if, in this terribly rational tale, there was a way out, a place where the hope and recklessness of the early days could be restored? Whether it be ephemeral or forever.

Avec Faux-Départ l’artiste parisien nous compte une nouvelle histoire empreinte d’espoir et de désillusion. Pilú - Fresh Start

I met Luis in Gabi and Nestor’s backyard when we we were attending the after hour from the big party we had in Tegucigalpa. He was playing continuously great music that fit the atmosphere and the mood of the last remaining people really well. At one point I wanted to know a song he played and when he revealed me that it was his own song I was sure I wanted to get some of his music to listen to and to play. Weeks later when I was back in Germany and got some of his music, I could not believe in the variety of styles that I was listening to. So the plan was made to release an album and that’s what we have here. A wonderful range of different genres that we bring to you to listen to. Please enjoy.

Growing up in the 90s in rural upper Austria, Jakobin spent his time with skateboarding and listening to lots of hip hop before witnessing the halcyon days of the Vienna downbeat era and later being introduced to Austria's club culture.
Pursuing his growing passion for collecting vinyl, he started spinning his first records in the region and later moved to the Austrian capitol. There he connected with likeminded people. Quickly getting immersed in the Viennese electronic music scene, he started producing and DJing with his long time friend Domino under the moniker Jakobin & Domino and became founding members of Luv Shack Records in 2011. After a number of successful releases he started his solo career and began working on his live setup. His growing collection of analog gear helped shaping his productions. An overview of his current sound is expressed on his new record ‚Forever More‘. Heavily influenced on 90s UK house productions this 3-track EP will activate your senses and move your body with its groovy basslines and drums, creating an irresistible rhythm.

‚Forever More‘ will come out in its digital form on September 8, 2023. And later this year on limited vinyl.

If we ask Rick how he got the obscure title for this track, he says quite simply that it is the name from a sound bank in his synth that carries that name that he has used for almost the whole production of this track. B2 Dj Ricky da Dragon - Those Day's is clearly a sincere but also catchy tribute to the early days of Chicago house music. Especially the recognizable drum sounds from the TR707 give you the idea of being surrounded by the sounds of particular those day's. Accompanied by a very melodic Korg bass line, heavy pianos and synths make the atmosphere really complete. And to confirm the message even more , the track this time is carried by Ricky da Dragon's own singing voice forged to one song and can please many house lover , on the dance floor or not with this classic-sounding masterpiece. don't sleep on this, limited copies....
