Following the last Black Strobe EP  release " Boogie In Zero Gravity" out this summer, BSR has partnered with some old friends in New York City to create a special package of new remixes from :

AKA JK is Jonathan Kreinik - aka Limozine Unlimited aka Tanline (1999-2002, not to be confused with Tanlines)- a musician, producer, engineer, DJ, remixer, photographer, and traveller from Washington, DC now living in NYC. 

JK has been making electronic music and hiding it away since the 80's when he wasn't quite 5 feet tall. Finally some of it started to surface after his long tenure as a live sound engineer. 

It's entirely possible you've visited and or seen this character in the form of engineer or producer on record sleeves by Trans Am, !!!, Out Hud, Measles Mumps Rubella, the Apes, the Make Up and Frodus, or on tour behind the mixing console with The Rapture, The Presets, Trans Am, Le Tigre, LCD Soundsystem, and a slew of other seminal underground bands. 

2009 saw the release of two futurist electronic EPs under his own name on Swedish Columbia (“Darklight” and “Return To Precinct 13”) plus remixes of the long awaited MFA single "Throw It Back" (Border Community), as well as a critically acclaimed remix for Triobelisk's "Xrystal Eyez" (Swedish Columbia). 
AKA JK's releases on Throne of Blood are a reflection of years in basements with sequencers, apartments with Macintoshes, van front seats with laptops, and international flights with Xanex and most importantly his long-standing love of dance music, indie, and darkwave pop.

Based in Leeds, England, disco and house upstart The Dead Rose Music Company has been turning heads and shaking rumps across the globe thanks to a seemingly endless stream of instant classics. 2012 has seen TDRMC take root on Throne of Blood sublabel Let's Play House, where he's unleashed the utterly massive Four Songs EP, the moody "Your Kisses," and the eye-popping "Tonight" EP  in just six months. Having staked his claim to house and disco glory, TDRMC is turning his attention to some monstrous remixes. His striking interpretation of "Boogie In Zero Gravity" is but an appetizer for many more remixes to come, including a bumping 90's house take of River & Phoenix's latest, out this fall on Let's Play House

Black Strobe - Boogie In Zero Gravity ( AKA JK Remix )

Sounds and tracks from Jonathan Kreinik, AKA JK and Studio Boombox Magnetica. Jonathan is a Musician, Producer/Engineer, DJ, Art-maker and occasional Front Of House Mixer for Holy Ghost!, Haerts, Midnight Magic, the Rapture and the Presets. Based in Brooklyn, NY. Also known to take photos, and occasionally write about all of the above.

Arnaud Rebotini is a singer, songwriter, producer and remixer, he has become one of the most emblematic figures in electronic music today, adept at straddling genres, both avant-garde and timeless, and bringing them together. 
For example, his Zend Avesta project (Organique, Universal 2000) married electronic music with a chamber orchestra. 
With his analogue synthesisers, he became a central figure on the scene of new international techno, marking renewed enthusiasm for the use of electronic instruments rather than just computers. His live shows have always been unanimously celebrated (Music Components, Citizen 2008, Someone Give Me Religion, K7 - 2010) and his remixes for pour Depeche Mode, David Guetta, Rammstein, The Rapture, Bloc Party, Acid Washed and Tristesse Contemporaine are as indicative of his sets at the biggest clubs and festivals (playing live or mixing) as his collaboration with the highbrow Groupe de Recherches Musicales, especially with Christian Zanési for their Frontières project.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Trained on the concrete streets of Los Angeles, CA. If you were at the club - you would find him right next to the speaker feeling every moment of sound.

Aurally inspired by radical beats, ethereal atmospheres, sweet melodies and big room bass lines - you can feel every ounce of sound drip in your ear at a micro level - similar to the sound of rain and the feeling of drops as it splashes on your skin.

His surreal approach is imaginative, creative and visual - galloping forward from a visual art background and Spanish and Native American influence he's drawn to drums and strings.

Lush soundscapes will fill your ear, but you only have to be willing to let go of all expectation and let the sounds guide you, leaving you in control of your imagination - similar to reading a book - only here he paints a picture and you pick your destination.
