"Suncell" is a new project from Berlin-based artist Simon Pilkington (half of the duo Tracing Xircles). The project explores the dualities of bliss and menace, the coexistence of nature and technology, and the points where these elements intersect.

With an emphasis on storytelling through unreserved harmony and forward melodies, Suncell weaves classic sounds into intricate layers of subtle dissonance and detailed ambiance. All of this is tied together with hypnotic repetition. The project spans tempos freely, drawing influence from classic IDM, electro, and early techno, predating the emergence of clear genre definitions.
