In 2005 Heiko used the original Souldancer on his album Spread on Kanzleramt (ka123) and here come the all fueled up mixes by Heiko Laux and the Buenos Aires top producer Jonas Kopp.

'The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.'

'With much pride we present our second release of the year, coming from 'Dutch wonderboy' Beswerda who makes his debut on the label with a solid dark melodic techno EP including remixes from VNTM (who released his “Wanderer at night EP” recently on WEITER), and the talented Erly Tepshi. 

  Beswerda, who recently released music on Tronic, Pursuit and Infinite Depth, has been on Olivier Weiter’s radar for quite some time.  Both tracks have been personal favorites from Weiter since a while, being a highlight in every DJ set. Powerful, steady grooves combined with dark, melodic elements. Hypnotizing people from the start, both tracks dive into a euphoric breakdown, kicking in strong with a surprising melody afterwards. Beswerda’s signature sound can be heard clearly in both records - while listening to the tracks you just know this is going to work on the dance floor.'

'Odd Echoes Vol. 2 is the second VA offering from duo Fur Coat's Oddity imprint. As well as featuring original material from the label owners themselves, this time around the package features work from the likes of Yotam Avni, Colyn, Esoteric Circle, Antonio Ruscito and more.

With productions throughout 2019 on labels such as Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Marc Romboy's Systematic and Oliver Huntemann's Senso Recordings, Venezuelan duo Fur Coat focus consistently on strong output. The same can most definitely be said for their imprint Oddity, having most recently released the much lauded EP from Afterlife affiliate Black Peters, the duo have used the label as a platform to unearth and showcase some of the scenes most promising talent.

Opening the package are label bosses Fur Coat with "Terra Luna", a hotly anticipated release that has been huge in their sets recently. Characterised with a prominent, metallic sounding lead synth this club focused piece sets the tone for an energetic VA. Next up Colyn, previous Oddity contributor Antonio Ruscito, and Oddity debutants Earthlife & VNTM complete the first half of the package with their original contributions, all providing emotive club tracks, designed for creating key moments during any set.'

'Mention Yoshitoshi to someone who grew up raving in the late 90's and early 2000's and there's a good chance they'll get a twinkle in their eye as memories of tracks like Eddie Amador's 'House Music,' PQM's 'You Are Sleeping,' Alactraz's 'Giv Me Luv', and Luzon's 'The Baguio Track' come flooding back. The label has produced some of dance music's most timeless records, including some of Deep Dish's own early work & remixes, plus iconic tracks like Chiapet's 'Westworld' and 'Tick Tock', Brother Brown's 'Under The Water', Kings of Tomorrow's numerous classics as KOT and Mysterious People, YMC's 'Last Stop,' Dino Lenny's 'I Feel Stereo,' 2 Smokin' Barrels' 'Basses Loaded,' Sasha & BT's seminal '2 Fat C**ts,' Lexicon Ave's 'Here I Am,' Loudeast's 'Lights Off!' and many many more. The list is really too long. Through it all Yoshitoshi's focus has always been to push forward entire genres of music and never allow itself to be pinned down to one style or sound. Some might say this is no way to run a label, that hopping between genres is a surefire path to failure. Well, twenty-five years later, Yoshitoshi is still going strong, having been an instrumental force in forging many of today's dance music superstars. It's a formula that's yielded astonishing results, simply because of the label's dedication to finding, nurturing, and championing forward-thinking talent above all else.

Few labels reach their silver jubilee, especially in the fast-paced, single-driven world of house and techno. In celebration of its rich twenty-five-year history in dance music, Yoshitoshi will release three unique compilations each filled with a 25 track mix of remastered classics, modern hits, and new remixes from some of the greatest names in House, Techno, and Melodic House. 

For the Techno edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we've dug deep into the archives and pulled out the finest tracks that define the darker side of Yoshitoshi's history. This includes remastered versions of classic tracks like Dish Out Bum's 'Gak Trak' Chiapet's 'Tick Tock,' 2 Smokin' Barrels' 'Basses Loaded,' and Timeline's 'Clockwork Orange,' as well as modern cuts like Victor Ruiz's 'Rollercoaster,' ANNA's 'Momentum,' Nicole Moudaber's seminal remix of Alcatraz's 'Give Me Luv', and Loco & Jam and Frankyeffe's 'Splitting Minds.' To spice things up, we've included three brand new remixes from Moonwalk, label regular Olivier Giacomotto, and Dubspeeka. Moonwalk takes on Phil Kieran's 'I Love You,' creating a deep mix that emphasizes the Italian duo's knack for catchy, earworm synth patterns and hold-your-breath build-ups that deliver in the club. Dubspeeka remixes Sharam's classic from 2009 'Secret Parkway,' turning the track into a moody late-night warehouse banger complete with spooky synths and gobs of low end. Following up the deep and uplifting Yoshitoshi 25: House compilation, the Techno edition takes you to the other side of the coin and once again demonstrates the label's diverse history and versatility. 'The first EP of 2020 will be in the name of the Italian Alberth. With his productions he gains a lot of support and through 2019 he worked his way up. He provided three originals, with 'Focus' as title track, and the remix is coming from the Italian, Berlin based, duo The Ancient Memories.

The first track of the EP is called 'Focus'. As the name already says the track is focused on one particular magical lead. This floating lead is accompanied by some in-the-face drums and atmospheric sounds, which all together created a really effective track.

'Wanderlast' is the second track of the EP, which is a beautiful one. Through the track more and more got revealed of the intriguing high pitched main synth. Even though the track is really atmospheric, Alberth managed to add a certain groove to the percussion.

The third track, 'The Landing', makes you feel like you are hovering somewhere high in the sky. The lead is drifting through the track and got strengthened by some balanced higher sounds.

The Ancient Memories gave 'The Landing' a little bit more power by adding some heavier synths to the floating lead of the original. Every time listening to this remix, you will discover something new, which makes this an impressive end to an impressive EP.'

Focus EP

Premiere: Alberth - Focus [Infinite Depth]

'The Argentinian MUNSE is the artist who brings you the 15th EP of Infinite Depth. He provided three very interesting originals of which one collaboration with another Argentinian talent, called Stjepanek. Two of the originals got remixed by respectively the Belgian duo Senses of Mind and the French Aalson. 
The first tracks is called ‘Dawn’. A perfect intro track which starts of with a lot of exciting percussion. The tension through the whole track keeps expanding towards a certain unexpected point at the end of the track, through which all melodies heard before get new dimension. 

The duo Senses of Mind took their view on ‘Dawn’ and stripped the track down. Around some more atmospheric elements of the original they built up the track again, using their own signature sounds. This all together resulted a pretty minimalistic and sophisticated remix.

The title track of the EP, called ‘Alma’, is a real journey through space. Starting of with the key elements of the track, which overflow in a friendly and peaceful melody. After this, it comes to the key moment, which could be seen as a real intensification. A moment which will bring you to higher atmospheres for sure. After this intense part, the track nicely falls down into the peaceful melody again to bring this journey to an end.

The collaboration between MUNSE and Stjepanek, called ‘Serentiy’, is a masterpiece full of surprises. Already at the beginning the tension is very high, which makes you wonder what will be the next unexpected moment. Constantly melodies of which you couldn’t think of are generated and are combined with a certain groove flowing through the whole track. A track you can’t get enough of, but unfortunately every track has an end.

Aalson gave ‘Serenity’ a whole new meaning through his remix. In the beginning it looks like the remix is built on the lead melody of the original, but in the break a new signature melody gets introduced. This signature part gives the track an extra layer of euphory and brings the full EP to a nice and satisfying end. '

Alma EP

Hailing from the Amazonian river banks in South-America but stationed in the South of the Netherlands: meet Kapibara who make their label debut here. With music gracing Abracadabra, Chapter 24, Click, Atmosphere, Constant Circles and Exotic Refreshment the boys are hot property.

'Corvida' opens proceedings with a dirty little bubbing blippy vibes, infectious and and full of energy. Wonky effected sounds, trippy effects and full of filth!

'Motoro' is a subtly building grooved out slab of solidness, intensifying until it reaches it huge breakdown, merging drama with euphoria and slamming back with a whole lot of nastiness!

Stepping up on remix duties we find 'Naeiiv' who's work has graced Blindfold, OMENI and Geistzeit, and delivers a rediculously cool throbber of a rework of 'Corvida'. A full mind melter for peak time moments, watch out for those wobbly snths!'

'Melodic and Techno are two words that spontaneously pop up on the surface of the thinking mind when listening to Lexer’s new EP. It’s real good storytelling, that’s what it is! This trip gets even more colorful with the remixes. René Bourgeois makes Faces all about gyrating bounce and casual uplift. Mollono.Bass teams up with Marc Vogler, who opens an unheard dimension of deepness in the dubby frequencies of his melodica – while the Club Remix adds another pearl to the string of his epic repertoire.

Stylo and Space Motion, two of our current favorite producers join forces for a massive EP in Be Again / Last Siren.

With a strong vocal theme the track 'Be Again' leads the A side of the EP. An infectious rolling bass line sets the mood for all the atmospheres that surround it, with hypnotic melodies and well defined ambiences putting its listeners in a total state of inner trance.

On the B side of this EP Stylo and Space Motion bring total darkness with 'The Last Siren'. A powerful and groovy bass line brings the cadence while the super elaborate fx and drum work define this track into a one of kind. But the cherry on top of this record is definably the melodies that echo a siren sound as the title of the track suggests, simply genius.

PREMIERE: Stylo & Space Motion - Let It Go (Original Mix) [Space Motion Records]

'One year after their first release on Family Piknik Music ('The Ancient One’), French duo ABSTRAAL is back with a massive dancefloor weapon. 'Broken Smiles’ is a team work with famous german pair TEENAGE MUTANTS (Stil vor Talent, Terminal M...) and French songwriter / singer JIM (known for his vocal collaborations with LKF Project released on Bog & Agoria’s labels).

Abstraal has grown a lot these past months through many collaborations, releases and remixes. Building a solid profile, the boys have caught the attention of many playlist diggers, labels and A-list DJs. Hot from their recent remix for Outcome and their strong collaboration with Pontias on Jannowitz Records, Abstraal is now ready to deliver his strongest release to date.

Broken Smiles’s original version is a modern crossover Dance anthem with a minimal approach, sparkling synths and a dark atmosphere turning into an epic odyssey after the break. Vocals are perfectly dived into this moody instrumental, while trancy synths progressively add a bit of tension. Teenage Mutants own rework offer a totally different energy, somewhere between Detroit Techno and Chicago House, with an addictive old-school organ hook as key element. 5 stars remix is delivered by French techno master Popof. Form music label boss and experimented producer-remixer (from Hot Chip & Chemical Brothers to Umek, Julian Jeweil, Robert Babicz and many others) showcases his best Acid influences with a driving techno treatment and a mind-blowing atmosphere during the break. Tension is absolutely mad and these synth notes will have many ravers losing their mind for sure. Here’s an other monster remix from this living legend ! Justin Cholewski is also part of this massive release. After his brillant remix for Patrick Topping & Kevin Saunderson (Armada), Lithuanian producer drops a fat kick before playing with dramatic synths and developing a wild and rolling acid-techno monster.

The EP ends with an alternative version produced by JIM himself. French singer offers an alternative indie- dance rework he has produced as part of Wet Sunset, one of his latest musical projects. Very different from the other remixes, this version takes us on a musical road-trip, full of surprises. An oriental flute answers to some raw synths and post-disco drums, balancing with the vocal elements from the original cut.'

'Beat Boutique reaches its landmark 100th release, and amazing achievement in this day and age. The label celebrate in fine style with a release from label favourites D-Nox & Beckers, plus two hot remixes courtesy of Cid Inc. and Nico Morano!

D-Nox and Beckers have been a mainstay of the underground scene, for longer than either of them probably would care to remember, and seemingly getting more successful and more popular as time goes by. Both successful individually and as part of the dynamic duo, with releases gracing Tronic, Innervisions, Watergate, Selador and Sprout to name just a few.

'Bitter Rain' is a melodic and dirty workout, with harmonies meeting grittiness, and subtleness meeting pure filth. A solid track that is as fresh as a daisy, yet has nods to yesteryear. A seriously accomplished dance floor monster.

Re-Plug boss Cid Inc. steps up first on remix duties, as he continues to develop his own DJ and production career. His remix is a biggie, and in his hallmark vibe, he delivers a throbbing rework. Big bass and plenty of drive, and great utilisation of the melody, keeping us waiting for the big key changes. A monster rework

Nico Morano has been causing quite a fuss in recent years, with amazing roof top gigs and quirky locations gaining international attention. His label Atmosphere has been gaining in stature, and his releases on Sincopat, KATTERMUKKE and Récits de Mars have increased his popularity. Nico adds an air of sophistication to his rework, yet still packing a serious punch!'
