Darin Epsilon's label Perspectives Digital returns for the fourth consecutive year with its massively popular ‘MMW & WMC Sampler'.  The 2017 edition continues the tradition of showcasing some of the finest talent in the industry.  

The first selection of the series is provided by DJ's Roma Rone and Igor Ri9or.  blaktone is a brand new music project from Saint-Petersburg and their music is a symbiosis of progressive and techno sounds.  Ri9or is no stranger to the electronic music scene with releases on labels such as Balkan Connection, Bonzai Progressive, Visceral, and Pangea Recordings.  blaktone's ‘Aurora' teases the listener with threads of atmospheric sweeps but quickly launches into commanding force with its dark and gnarly bassline.

Teaming up for the second selection is Hasan Mogol and Be Morais.  German producer Hasan Mogol has been creating an array of hypnotizing, crowd-pleasing sounds for over ten years.  Brazilian producer and co-owner of Not Another Music, Be Morais, is rapidly establishing himself as a respected artist with his steady stream of works on Stripped Recordings, Dear Deer, and Slideways.  Hasan and Be Morais' collaboration on ‘Awkward Dance' crafts an undeniably industrious and sinister vibe with its pounding kick, haunting bassline and grimy chords. 

Next up is Kamilo Sanclemente making his third appearance on the label. The Colombian producer maintains his masterful discography on imprints such as Einmusika, Baroque, and Mistique Music.  He's a staple on the Progressive House charts and a constant presence in Hernan Cattaneo's charts and ‘Resident' radio show.  Kamilo's offering titled ‘The White City' pushes the listener into a spellbinding state with its vigorous layers of percussion and eerie vocal samples.

Completing the series is Hungarian producer Paul Kardos.  Paul's impactful debut on Perspectives titled ‘The Other' was instrumental to the success of the ‘2016 ADE Sampler' last October.  Paul brings his signature blend of melodic techno and contemporary progressive house with his newest production. In ‘Ancient Astronaut', the dominating groove and whimsical chords continuously build, creating relentless tension that satisfies in the third act with a dramatic finish.

Nick Brennan’s Tripswitch journey through electronic music reconvenes in 2018 with his recently launched onedotsixtwo label’s next unique artistic step forward. The platform’s third, highly anticipated release – ‘Voight Kampff’ – is, perhaps, the finest track so far from the occasional, intensely creative collaborative project joining Nick Warren and Tripswitch. This outstanding package is further bolstered with an exceptional set of remix interpretations courtesy of Cid Inc. and Öona Dahl. 

The two Nicks first connected back in 2006, when Warren licensed two Tripswitch tracks for his (now classic) Global Underground ‘GU30 Paris’ compilation. Over time they became good friends, with Warren becoming something of a mentor to Brennan, and with their musical tastes so aligned going right back to the 1980’s, it was inevitable that a studio partnership would develop when the time was right. Having first remixed Joey Fehrenbach ‘Wolves’ (The Soundgarden), their powerful studio chemistry then saw their debut original track ‘Savannah’ appear on Hernan Cattaneo’s ‘Balance presents Sudbeat’ comp, before being released as a single on the Sudbeat label and going on to become one of the hottest progressive releases of 2017. 

Cid Inc.'s music is already embedded deep in the hearts of many electronic music fans. Recent releases on Sudbeat, Lost & Found, Perspectives Digital, the wonderfully esoteric Armadillo label, as well as his own Replug Records, are some of the latest examples of his exceptional craftsmanship. Cid Inc. always looks to compose something that is not only profoundly memorable but also deeply moving, and as such, is a perfect artist to reinterpret ‘Voight Kampff’. The Swedish DJ/Producer with an uncompromising passion to create a contemporary, cutting edge sound, exhibits his inimitable blend of hypnotic house and techno to perfection here. A subtly powerful, intricate percussive groove provides a rock-solid backbone for his ever-evolving layers of electronic wizardry, as the track steadily soars towards an otherworldly state of heavenly bliss.

'The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.'

With their first collaborative project Artfaq and Ezequiel Arias land on Cid Inc’s Replug Records with ‘Babel’. Hailing from Cordoba, Nacho Ferroni and Nacho Varela make up the Artfaq production team. The Argentinean duo have found favour amongst progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while finding a home on Antrim’s rapidly rising Or Two Strangers imprint. Similarly, upon making his debut in 2013, Cordoba resident Ezequiel Arias quickly became a favourite of the two storied DJs as well, eventually leading to releases on Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records, Sudbeat Music and Suara. Also a member of the Replug artist roster, Ezequiel made his label debut in November of 2017 with a contribution to the ‘Defined 01’ collection. Now making a welcome return to the Finnish imprint, Ezequiel pairs with label debutants Artfaq for a highly anticipated EP. 

Comprised of two tracks it’s the title piece ‘Babel’ which leads the release off.  Putting your emotional centres on high, a bed of warm beats and hip swinging rhythms set the stage for a full, driving groove. Redolent effects add an astral charm as the first act unfolds, while fragmented melodies are gently teased as the main break commences. Coming to full realization yet tastefully indistinct, it’s a musical narrative for the astute connoisseur, delivering a profound emotional message before smoothly transitioning into a groovy finale. 

Rounding out the EP is the equally stunning ‘Polaroid’. In crafting a smooth rolling groove, the Argentinean trio have fashioned a strong foundation, complemented with hypnotic pulses and percussive drive. Charming in design and emotive in delivery, harmonic phrases slowly engulf the framework, carrying the piece into joyous second act. As the bassline melts down, melodic motifs converge, opening up for moments of exuberant warmth and hopeful reflection, before a pulsating final act unites rhythm and groove for devastating dance floor dynamics.  It caps off a hugely successful collaborative project from three of Argentina’s most highly touted artists. A meeting of music minds where the end result further cements Replug’s ethos of delivering unique and exciting projects.

  Beswerda, who recently released music on Tronic, Pursuit and Infinite Depth, has been on Olivier Weiter’s radar for quite some time.  Both tracks have been personal favorites from Weiter since a while, being a highlight in every DJ set. Powerful, steady grooves combined with dark, melodic elements. Hypnotizing people from the start, both tracks dive into a euphoric breakdown, kicking in strong with a surprising melody afterwards. 'Mention Yoshitoshi to someone who grew up raving in the late 90's and early 2000's and there's a good chance they'll get a twinkle in their eye as memories of tracks like Eddie Amador's 'House Music,' PQM's 'You Are Sleeping,' Alactraz's 'Giv Me Luv', and Luzon's 'The Baguio Track' come flooding back. The label has produced some of dance music's most timeless records, including some of Deep Dish's own early work & remixes, plus iconic tracks like Chiapet's 'Westworld' and 'Tick Tock', Brother Brown's 'Under The Water', Kings of Tomorrow's numerous classics as KOT and Mysterious People, YMC's 'Last Stop,' Dino Lenny's 'I Feel Stereo,' 2 Smokin' Barrels' 'Basses Loaded,' Sasha & BT's seminal '2 Fat C**ts,' Lexicon Ave's 'Here I Am,' Loudeast's 'Lights Off!' and many many more. The list is really too long. Through it all Yoshitoshi's focus has always been to push forward entire genres of music and never allow itself to be pinned down to one style or sound. Few labels reach their silver jubilee, especially in the fast-paced, single-driven world of house and techno. In celebration of its rich twenty-five-year history in dance music, Yoshitoshi will release three unique compilations each filled with a 25 track mix of remastered classics, modern hits, and new remixes from some of the greatest names in House, Techno, and Melodic House. 

For the Techno edition of Yoshitoshi 25, we've dug deep into the archives and pulled out the finest tracks that define the darker side of Yoshitoshi's history. This includes remastered versions of classic tracks like Dish Out Bum's 'Gak Trak' Chiapet's 'Tick Tock,' 2 Smokin' Barrels' 'Basses Loaded,' and Timeline's 'Clockwork Orange,' as well as modern cuts like Victor Ruiz's 'Rollercoaster,' ANNA's 'Momentum,' Nicole Moudaber's seminal remix of Alcatraz's 'Give Me Luv', and Loco & Jam and Frankyeffe's 'Splitting Minds.' To spice things up, we've included three brand new remixes from Moonwalk, label regular Olivier Giacomotto, and Dubspeeka. Yoshitoshi 25 - Techno ft. remixes from Olivier Giacomotto, Dubspeeka & Moonwalk

'The Argentinian MUNSE is the artist who brings you the 15th EP of Infinite Depth. He provided three very interesting originals of which one collaboration with another Argentinian talent, called Stjepanek. Two of the originals got remixed by respectively the Belgian duo Senses of Mind and the French Aalson. 
The first tracks is called ‘Dawn’. A perfect intro track which starts of with a lot of exciting percussion. The tension through the whole track keeps expanding towards a certain unexpected point at the end of the track, through which all melodies heard before get new dimension. 

The duo Senses of Mind took their view on ‘Dawn’ and stripped the track down. Around some more atmospheric elements of the original they built up the track again, using their own signature sounds. This all together resulted a pretty minimalistic and sophisticated remix.

The title track of the EP, called ‘Alma’, is a real journey through space. Starting of with the key elements of the track, which overflow in a friendly and peaceful melody. After this, it comes to the key moment, which could be seen as a real intensification. A moment which will bring you to higher atmospheres for sure. After this intense part, the track nicely falls down into the peaceful melody again to bring this journey to an end.

The collaboration between MUNSE and Stjepanek, called ‘Serentiy’, is a masterpiece full of surprises. Already at the beginning the tension is very high, which makes you wonder what will be the next unexpected moment. Constantly melodies of which you couldn’t think of are generated and are combined with a certain groove flowing through the whole track. A track you can’t get enough of, but unfortunately every track has an end.

Aalson gave ‘Serenity’ a whole new meaning through his remix. In the beginning it looks like the remix is built on the lead melody of the original, but in the break a new signature melody gets introduced. This signature part gives the track an extra layer of euphory and brings the full EP to a nice and satisfying end. '

Hailing from the Amazonian river banks in South-America but stationed in the South of the Netherlands: meet Kapibara who make their label debut here. With music gracing Abracadabra, Chapter 24, Click, Atmosphere, Constant Circles and Exotic Refreshment the boys are hot property.

'Corvida' opens proceedings with a dirty little bubbing blippy vibes, infectious and and full of energy. Wonky effected sounds, trippy effects and full of filth!

'Motoro' is a subtly building grooved out slab of solidness, intensifying until it reaches it huge breakdown, merging drama with euphoria and slamming back with a whole lot of nastiness!

Stepping up on remix duties we find 'Naeiiv' who's work has graced Blindfold, OMENI and Geistzeit, and delivers a rediculously cool throbber of a rework of 'Corvida'. A full mind melter for peak time moments, watch out for those wobbly snths!'
