It’s drum and bass this week and helping me Draw The Line, with her guest mix in the second hour, it’s Gifta, a drum and bass DJ and Producer who’s based in London. She’s inspired by the energetic and aggressive side of the genre, sitting between heavy rollers and skatty minimal influences. Her productions feature tight, rolling drum work and strong basses, bringing the hard hitting energy she enjoys to the forefront of her sound. In 2020 she founded her own record label, Phase Records DNB which has quickly established itself as one of the best labels on the up and coming circuit.

"Arnekdote" is an EDM artist, DJ, and producer based in Germany. He began his musical journey at a young age, starting with guitar and DnB, before transitioning to DJing with vinyl records. His fascination with intricate artworks and programming skills led him to explore digital music production.Arnekdote was actively involved in the "Junglist Movement" in Germany and is currently a member of "The Studio of Free and Applied Arts" in Celle, where he participates in various music projects. From the crisp sounds of digital and live instruments to gritty synth tones and melodies complemented by atmospheric and cinematic impacts, he constantly innovates in acoustic arts.He initially delved into Liquid DnB production and later expanded his repertoire to include Deep, Tech House, and Hardtech music genres, all while maintaining his creativity and distinctive style..
