That village next to the town you don’t know, next to the city you barely heard of. In the back woods where time stands still but houses come & go. Where millions pass the freeway each day but none meet new people. This is one of few remaining places where the sun doesn’t touch the cold concrete but still kisses the horizon. A community, built in swampy mist, grew into a once thriving sugar industry. Now molded into means of escape for city folk. Certain city folk knew how to open their doors in ways the swamp had always done, yet some did not. And by shutting their doors, they unknowingly shut their blinds. 

Particular individuals could not reside in this self-made box for too long. For this box was filled with daily routines, no-risk attitudes, judging chatter and pesticides. 

So against all odds, the new generation rises from the swamp. Like mist in the early morning.
