After more than a decade spent building an enviable reputation for herself in the clubs of Paris, Jennifer Cardini has become an international concern.
Jennifer Cardini long since outgrew Pulp – the Parisian club where she first made her name– and set off on a mission to take her vision of house music to audiences around Europe and beyond. Over the course of a career spanning of fifteen years, she has delivered DJ sets fusing techno, electro and disco at the world’s most prestigious clubs (Panorama Bar in Berlin, De School in Amsterdam, Lux in Lisbon, Good Room in New York) and hottest festivals (Melt, Nuit Sonores, Burning Man).

Yet her dancefloor philosophy is reflected not only by her sets and the music released on her labels, including electro imprint Correspondant and the more indie oriented Dischi Autunno but also by her engagement in support of the LGBT-community. Based in Berlin following six years in Cologne, Jennifer Cardini continues travelling all around the world transmitting her love for music to us through the dancefloor!

This track is a tribute to Greta Thunberg’s thrilling 2018 speech "How dare you ?! ». At this time it was already an emergency to fight back against climat destruction generated mainly by the 1% the richest to maintain their insane privileges and power in place. Now the ecological and economical disaster is very visible to all of us. 

Hanger and sadness can be beautiful emotions to express, as every single emotions we can go through, when it's done with dignity and elegance, like in this speech. Expressing / receiving emotions is an education each one of us has to work on all life long. Dissociating from our system of emotions makes us dissociated from the rest of the living : it never ends up well.

I dedicate this track to Elsa, and Héloïse, and all little girls from today who will have to fight for a better world tomorrow. We are humans, meaning we are deeply good and social. For us, for other humans, but also for every living things. Don't let any liars try to make you believe it is another way. Remember that this days believing is the enemy of thinking. Reality exists.

Lodzikovsky is a Polish-born DJ and rising star of the hypnotic techno scene, raised in Warsaw and shaped by the raw industrial pulse of Wrocław. Her journey began in the underground hub Das Lokal, where she first connected with Berlin’s deep techno culture. In 2014, she relocated to Egypt and began fusing tribal and organic house with the intense, driving soundscapes inspired by artists like Oscar Mulero.

Now based between Egypt and Europe, Lodzikovsky is leading the introduction of hypnotic techno to the Middle East. Deeply influenced by Tresor, Berghain, TReort residents, and the raw aesthetics of the HATE label, her mission is to educate and energize new audiences with a pulsating, immersive sound.

Imploded Memory

A summer evening in a swampy clearing, in the middle of a lush, dark forest. The exquisite musical humming of dragonflies. This is Arold’s most deeply engraved memory of his awakening to the world, somewhere in Dordogne, in the southwest of France. He grew up alone in this harsh, hilly, ancestral landscape, steeped in mystery. During his wanderings, his spirit at once alert and meditative, Arold collected flint stones, which abound in the region. One day, he discovers a rocky crevice, hidden behind a tangle of vegetation. He decides to explore it. He crawls along a tunnel just big enough to give him passage for over a kilometer before emerging into a large space. He lights up the cavern by rhythmically striking two flint stones together. The flying sparks light up the walls, revealing images from the depths of time. The rhythmical sound of the flints as they are struck, and the stroboscopic light that they produce, make the colorful wall paintings spring to life and dance as Arold watches. The pulsing beats, echoed back by the luminescent rocky walls, wrap him in a swell of bewitching sound. The images multiply and whirl around Arold, magnifying, sharpening, heightening his senses. Intense smells, bestial and atavistic, sweep into the reptilian depths of his brain. Suddenly, Arold is catapulted into a deep trance, an upswell of sweetly timeless and infinitely soothing hyper-consciousness, a state of total fusion with the space-time continuum. When Arold emerges from the cavern, he discovers that his two flints are now pointed, sharp as boar teeth. He looks around, smiles. The world is his oyster. From now on, he will call himself Arold Flinter.
