Mit dem Debüt-Release »Meine Liebe Nicht« feiert nicht nur das Thüringer Synthie Pop Duett MAMORÉ die Wiedergeburt der Neuen Deutschen Welle – auch für das Jenaer Label AROMA+ ist es das erste Mal. Der EP hört man das Trachten nach heißen Küssen im Freibad und einem nie enden wollenden Sommer in den Achtziger Jahren an. Drei zweifellos tanzbare MAMORÉ Originale auf Seite A und zwei dancefloortaugliche Remixe von Franz Scala und dem AROMA+ Soundsystem auf Seite B bilden das Hit-auf-Hit Vinyl-Release des Jahres 2021. Irgendwie neu, irgendwie wavey. Als Ohrwurm irgendwie ganz schwer loszuwerden.

With the debut release »Meine Liebe Nicht«, the Thuringian Synth Pop Duet MAMORÉ is not only celebrating the rebirth of the Neue Deutsche Welle – it‘s also the first time for the Jena based label AROMA +. The EP shows the desire for hot kisses at the pool and a never-ending summer in the eighties. Three undoubtedly danceable MAMORÉ Originals on Side A and two dancefloor-suitable Remixes by Franz Scala and the AROMA + Soundsystem on Side B form the Hit-on-Hit Vinyl Release of the year 2021. Somehow new, somehow wavey. As a catchy tune somehow very difficult to get rid of.

Palmtrees & Flamingos is a side project from Monotype with a sound defined by powerful drums and driving synths, heavily influenced by New Wave, EBM and the Italo Disco sounds of the 80´s. His sets are characterized by cosmic sounds reminiscent of a car ride in a cabrio under the palm trees towards the sun.
Formed in 2023, Palmtrees & Flamingos is also a part of the We Art Together family and performs Live and DJ sets.
