Charles Rich is a producer, songwriter, vocalist, keyboardist, and general sound enthusiast from St. Paul, Minnesota. He started playing piano at a young age and began composing in middle school. In high school he discovered the worlds of spoken word and electronic music production. After studying philosophy during his undergraduate years in Portland, Oregon, Charles returned to his hometown and began to pursue novel methods of music creation.

Under the influence of alternative pop, modern hip-hop, and cinematic electronics, the music is an exploration of color and creative sample synthesis. Animal calls are transformed into instruments that are unfamiliar, yet nostalgic. Lyrics dabble in ambiguity. Percussion is often constructed from recordings of the street, lake, city, and forest. These qualities contribute to an experience almost as visual as auditory.

Marselais Julian is an independent music artist from the Twin Cities of Minnesota based currently in Los Angeles, California. Since 2005, Marselais has been developing his craft and passion for music. Music is a platform Marselais uses to connect with people through his vulnerability, relatability, and ability to paint a vivid lyrically driven story. Marselais believes music is the most powerful and universal language we possess, so he uses that language to spread positivity to the people. Marselais Julian’s music has been featured on numerous NFL and NBA team highlights and continues to get placements through the APM Music library.
