Dominik Müller is an industrial music artist and the founder of Furanum Records. His productions and DJ sets gravitate toward dark, industrial techno—characterized by pounding percussion, expansive soundscapes, and powerful mechanical reverberations. His latest industrial ambient project is Beuthen OS, and he also collaborates with Rafał Fürst under the alias Uncto.

Dominik’s music has been released on labels such as Furanum Records, Locked Records, Limetree, Illegal Alien, Ante-Rasa, Nheoma, Neural Network, Audioexit, Gegen, Brutal Forms, Flux, Nadryv, Monolith Records, and Voidance.


Beuthen O.S.
A place, a history, a context: all invariably and singularly inform the perspectival engine driving Beuthen OS. Like all creative visions that compel one to self-expression, this is one that began through an industrial baptism: one of immersion in the machined and polluted landscape of mines, forges, workshops, and brutalist monuments of a bygone eras. Melting and reprocessing such narratives through an electronic foundry of his own design, Beuthen OS sees industrial ambient music, with its sheer physicality and iterative capacity to induce extremes of cerebral and corporeal experience, as a form that affords their most compelling realization.

Furan: on one hand a flammable, highly toxic organic molecule, and on the other one of the pollutive byproducts of a combustive fossil-driven industry. One such heavily industrialized region is Silesia, a place with a turbulent history and formerly one of the world's most prodigious producers of coal.

To Domink Müller, the founder of Furanum Records established in 2007, the aesthetic inspiration behind the label can thus be characterized by both the volatility of the compound and its personally relevant historical context. Such duality is reflective of the dialectical tension between many of the themes explored on the label’s output: brutality/subtlety, man/machine, order/chaos, pain/pleasure, domination/submission. Modern techno, with its inherent capacity to push the limits of human perceptual experience, is the chosen mode of expression for the juxtapositions of these thematic extremes. Through machined rhythmical precision, textural experimentation, and an overwhelming sense of scale, each featured composition on the label aims to serve as an engine of immersion in the part frenetic, part euphoric swelter of sweat, sound, strobe, fog, and flesh. Based in Berlin since 2012, Furanum Records continues to serve as a nexus for the industrial vision of like-minded artists from around the world.
