**𝘼𝙍𝙍𝙑𝙇 036 - 𝙉𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙖**

We’re back with edition #36 of our Podcast series and we are proud to showcase another amazing talent .. Nadia 🙌

Scottish born, DJ Nadia grew up in sunny Algeria, where her interest in music started and as she practiced her art, she became heavily involved in the local scene. Over the last 20 years, ever since she embarked on her musical journey, she crafted her DJ skills and is no stranger to the Progressive house arena, her style of Djing has been influenced by the legends; Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and Sasha & Digweed to name a few, and brings us unrivalled pure progressive house vibes. Nadia has been based in the UK for the last 4 years, playing alongside great names such as Kasper Koman, Budakid, Paul Hazendonk, Moshic, GMJ & Matter at amazing events run by the likes of Modern Agenda, the Prog Lab Bristol & Progressive Astronaut London …all of this without forgetting her active contribution to the Algerian local scene. You can hear more from Nadia on Saturo Sounds (every 3rd Monday of the month, 8pm U.K. time) and Frisky Radio (every 1st Tuesday, 4pm U.K. time). 

About the mix 

As much as I tried telling a story, I recorded this mix with one goal in mind, to make people dance, something I’ve struggled with over the past year during the pandemic and multiple lockdowns. Lots of brand-new music, the mix is packed with emotion throughout, with late night party vibes and energy, it goes deep, dark, hypnotic and melodic, I hope you all enjoy the ride!! Jan & Gaby aka Around Us are an electronic dj / producer duo from Amsterdam.

In 2018 they celebrated their debut release on Balkan Connection's label. This was the start of a very fruitful collaboration and by the end of summer 2020 they released 52 tracks.

With the support of Dj Sasha on the track "Absentis" and Hernan Cattaneo using there tracks SLEEPING BLUE, BAMBOO, 8 STEPS and UNITED in his resident podcasts they are solidifying there name in the electronic scene.

With upcoming releases on Manual Music, Mirabilis, Mioli, ICONYC, TRAUM, Cinematique and many other labels, the year 2021 is going to be great year for them.
