Track consisting of 1 bass, 1 guitar, 1 drum and heavily processed vocals, this is arguably a bit of an album filler. Started out jamming and it turned into this, didn't really go ahead and polish it (like, making the drums more interesting, and so)

I remixed it in a functional/minimal style this year to be included on the Overland album, and now making it public here on the Cloud as well to bridge the time until I can actively work on new material again.

I like the lyrics, mostly:

grinding out the foresight
moon is up and fullbright
feeding back on the insight
burning taste of the mind

final words are spoken
prayers of dead and omen
giving hell a token
of passing by, unbroken

save for skies on fire
narrowing the wire
slowly fade the choir

Angels Too Expire (2021 remix)

The sacred chant ‘Salve Regina’ is a beautiful thing and to paraphrase Stewart Copeland and Caroline Shaw ‘...transcends religion itself’. This is one of a few rearrangements/improvisations I’ve tried. The harmony etc. is still there but the tele leads the way.

V1: Down by the Labrador
Icebergs, 10,000-year-old glacial giants
Snow white to deep aquamarine
Floating down the current to the warm gulf stream

Icebergs are edges of glaciers
Broken off and slipped into the ocean
90% below the surface of the sea
As deep and as hidden as a secret me

V2: Down by the Labrador
Icebergs, frozen giants, compressed snow and water
Crevasses a deep blue
and volcanic eruptions encased in ice cold.

Ocean currents hold me, waves forever blow me
As long as I am deep blue
Try to stop explosions, wind forever blowing
Ocean currents growing too.

V3: Far from the Labrador
Icebergs run aground and begin to start melting
Growlers by the shore
The water that is melting innocent and pure

I feel the force of currents,
my inner momentum
Ice bergs are unstable
but that’s not my story

Roberto B (@mgxloop and @volt5000) and I are glad to present "Egeia (Oriental Mix)", as track 8 in our collaborative album in progress since the start of 2022. It was Roberto who recently proposed a new and different version and mix for our composition "Egeia", https://soundcloud.com/alexander-mihailov-96713983/egeia-roberto-b-alex-m, which we had posted here on SoundCloud on 3 September 2021 as track 12 in an earlier album, "Midnight Coffee" (2021), https://soundcloud.com/alexander-mihailov-96713983/sets/midnight-coffee.

The track was created in collaboration on 29, 30 and 31 August 2021 (initial recording, arrangements and mix in GarageBand and Logic Pro X by Alex M) and 23, 24, 25 and 27 February 2022 (subsequent additions, arrangements, recording and final mix in MAGIX by Roberto B) and posted here on SoundCloud on 27 February 2022 (by Alex M). We have used sound effects from Alex M's own sample of field recordings, namely, Gentle Early Morning Sea Waves (recorded on 26 August 2021, on the beach in the village of Kariani, Aegean Sea coast, north Greece).

The artwork cover is based on a photo taken by Alex M (on 25 August 2021 on the beach in the village of Kariani, Aegean Sea coast, north Greece), cropped and annotated on 27 February 2022 in Preview (Mac OS) by Alex M.
