Crystal Bats - Falling In Love (Siraiva Remix)

When two of Canada's most handsome yet mysterious acts, Pat Lok and Bear Mountain met at a large music festival, they discovered a shared love of dark magic and even darker fermented beverages. The result: "Same Hearts", a melancholy house jam that explores the irrelevance of vapid teenage infatuation. The past 12 months saw Pat Lok earn BBC Radio 1 support with reworks of Cashmere Cat and Justin Timberlake, write an official Todd Edwards remix, flip an AlunaGeorge bootleg co-signed by the band, help name a new Pope, discover then lose a formula for a perpetual motion machine, and save 7 kittens from a burning skyscraper - and he promised not to be lazy this year. Expect a slew of original productions in 2014, with Same Hearts leading things off. Bear Mountain, best known for their singles "Two Step" and "Congo", had a magical year of their own, completing a full U.S. tour with Bloc Party and being tapped by Hot Chip to open at Lollapalooza. Their album will see its UK release this spring on Last Gang Records.

Same Hearts comes with remixes from Oxford, Shelby Grey and Ride the Universe.

Based in the world, made in Berlin and powered by the audience: this is Einmusika Recordings. Founded by label boss Einmusik end of 2008, the imprint has grown to a large family with members from Beirut, Toronto, Madrid, Amsterdam and many more cities. To celebrate 10 Years of it’s creative journeys and visions, Einmusika asked some friends and highly respected musicians to pick their favourite track from the past 10 Years for a very particular remix. Get inspired by a drifting version of Tim Engelhardt’s “Trust“ delivered by Nico Stojan. “Imagine“ a wild and liberating summer with Markus Kavka’s interpretation of Marc DePulse and put your dancing shoes on when Gabriel Ananda's remix of Betoko’s “Foreverness“ flows through the speakers.

„No Human Is Illegal“ was the message Budakid has sent in 2016 and Mira & Chris Schwarzwälder keep on spreading this special and important word through a lovely and deep version of it. Marco Resmann asks: “Does Your Love Fade Away“ with a darker and techy interpretation of the classic from Piek. Uplifting and right in time for the summer comes Eelke Kleijn’s “Visions“ with a dreamy and melodic attitude and some typical Amsterdam sounds. The original by Pysh was released in 2015 and still shakes the clubs.

Every Journey Creates A New Sound - Einmusika’s trip continues and the label will manifest itself with many showcases and own festival stages till the end of 2019.

Thom Nagy, journalist and passionate musician, makes the EP "You Don't Know", which we release digitally as well as vinyl, to something very special. Two of the four tracks included on the EP, called "Bloom" and "You Don't Know", are due to him. The disc is refined with two remixes by Dandara and Arutani, who met each other through the Basel-based label LOKD. They created a wonderful remix of the track "You Don't Know". Last but not least, we can look forward to a remix of Nagy's track "Bloom" by Madmotormiquel and Fulltone.

Each year Sol Selectas releases its mammoth Summer Sol compilation on the day of the summer solstice, which according to astronomy, is the year’s longest day of sunshine. The 2018 Summer Sol compilation is the third in the series, and there is already big expectations with the first two having both charted as top selling releases on Beatport.

Featuring on Summer Sol III is new music from Sabo himself along with tracks by Sol Selectas regulars such as Armen Miran, Canson, and Amentia, plus artists like Fatoumata and Ali Kuru, who are both making their debut on the label.
