In his sound he blends driving rhythms and effervescent synths with the modernity of contemporary indie dance. Dreams Don't Die in Space

Ian has been playing music to people at parties, in clubs, bars and on radio for over 30 years. An avid collector of funk, soul, hip-hop and electro records, he eventually became absorbed into the nascent acid house scene in East London and Essex. Throughout the 90’s and into the 2000’s, he trod the well worn path of DJ residencies and promoting parties eventually making and releasing his own music, remixing and running a record label spanning the evolution from big-beat to NuSkool breaks.

After a move to South East London, Ian secured a residency at Deptford institution bar and radio station, AAJA, playing slots live at the bar and online, spawning the long-running Dark Disco Radio show, now broadcasting monthly on Mixcloud. 

Recent DJ bookings include iconic venues the Social in London and the world famous Golden Lion in Todmorden. As a producer and remixer, his output can be found on scene-favourite labels like Paisley Dark, When Disco Goes Wrong, Hottwerk and the seminal Nein Records, also spawning his breaks and acid collaboration with Nein head-honcho Neil Parnell as PARVALE.

as we navigate you safely through those lightning strikes and opaque clouds. 
remember? like back in the days, on boris borisson's trip to morrisons.
when neon nights finally have passed here,
we will look down on past fears from deimos,
our future moon, orbiting another fragile marble.
how can we not stand together to protect them from being shattered by human greed?

right now they are still watching us, still silent, still peaceful,
with their hidden waters that shall wash away the pains we kept–
from that interdimensional love triangle we call past, present, and future.
when we finally arrive, you may be gone but live forever in our opium realms,
as the effervescent chemtrail surfers we were meant to be,
riding the wave that’s gushing from our rebirth.
how can we not feel the renature as the sirens’ venom kisses let us see, and set us free?
