April 2016 Mixtape - Sweet Sunrise Desperation

Up next is a brand new selection of fresh tunes to get you in the right mood. This month offers a somewhat lighter and happier tone than the deeper sound that was actually pretty succesful in April, with some of the best streaming results for yours truly. However, the tone is set uniquely by what quality tunes that are released and deserve our undisputed support.

So this month provides us with a bit more skip in our stride from notabilities such as Sam Feldt, Blonde and Nora en Pure. But also a few house bangers have made the cut this month, for example My Digital Enemy and Riva Starr just to mention a few. Anyway, this will hopefully help you make questionable choices, enjoy life and dance til you drop – all the way through May.

Welcome to the tenth and last edition of ’La Mixtape Sociale’. This is the final release in the ’La Mixtape Sociale’ series, as SVGR only does mixtape concepts in bundles of ten, due to the fact that after ten issues it’s usually time to move on.

This Volume X is still all about being true to the ”La Mixtapes Sociales” ambition; warming up with some new remixes, add some funky deep house tracks and upbeat classic gems from my live-set. But since this is the grand finale, we have to finish it with the iconic ’Finally’ from Kings of Tomorrow in the groovy Tosel & Hale remix, enjoy!

But why 'La Cuñado Speciale'... it means 'Specials from your brother-in-law', as SVGR is short for SVOGER (brother-in-law)in danish and cuñado means more or less the same in span'ish, so it just seemed like an obvious way to go;)

Weekend with Svoger #3

The SVGR project and this profile might be silent for a while. I'll still check in now and then, and perhaps drop a mixtape if I'm inspired. But less traction and plays in the last years, due to changes in the Soundcloud algorithms (or the quality of my work), has left all the scouting hours and the time spend on a frequent mixtape production unbalanced.

Few facts about the SVGR project. SVGR is short for 'Svoger' which means 'Brother-in-law' in Danish and is pronounced [Swåger]. I'm from Copenhagen, and have been creating mixtapes for years to share the work of rare musicians, and inspire friends with new deep house tunes. Playing 'Live' I'm one half of the dj duo 'DJ Svoger' and SVGR has been my solo-project. 

SVGR is a private initiative with no commercial strings attached, and thanks for all the listening, following, reposts, comments, and likes through the years.
