Hailing from South London, "Pistols Drawn At Dawn" consists of production and dj duo Phaze 100 and Joey Mayfair. Whilst attending the same Secondary school, the pair immersed themselves in the heart of the prevailing UK House & garage scene.

Their music careers took different paths over the years with Joey Mayfair djing/hosting parties for artists such as Jagged Edge, Joe, Kanye West, Marques Houston, Jahiem, Ginuwine, 112, Lethal B, Tinchy Stryder, G Frsh... He’s played to crowds at some of London's most iconic and exclusive venues such as Scala, Ministry of Sound, Shepherds Bush empire, Hammersmith Palais, No5 Cavendish Square, Maya, Pop, Kyashii, Kumo Lounge, Jewel Piccadilly, Kabarets Prophecy, Punk, Envy, monthly residencies in Glasgow, Derby, Nottingham and internationally with West African promotion company Akwaaba. This led to Joey Mayfair being selected for THE EVENING STANDARD annual event LONDON BAR WEEK sponsored by, Totally London, MatchBox, Galaxy Radio, United Business Radio, Contenda, Pure Spirit of Brasil, One Week to Live, Buffalo Trace, Konami, Xbox and Roberto Cavalli Vodka. 

After studying Audio Engineering in London, Phaze 100 moved across the pond to the States working with an impressive roll call of major league producers including, Grammy winning Ken Lewis (Kanye West, Eminem, Mariah Carey) DJ L.E.S (NAS) Peter Zizzo (Avril Lavigne) Jimmy Brawoler, Chad Beats (50 cent, Lloyd Banks, Ashanti, Travie McCoy). He notably worked with Vinny Cha$e and Kid Art from the Cheers Club on their GOLDEN Army mix-tape, which went on to earn the group a $2million deal with LA Reid at Epic/Sony. A return to the UK for Phaze 100 was also a natural return to his electronic roots. Remixes for artists such Teddy Music “Out Of Control’, producer/dj T2 (heartbroken) and Virgin Records Wyte Labl, earned him major UK radio support from the likes of BBC 1xtra, Kiss 100 and Capital Xtra. 

The pair have naturally joined forces to produce a hypnotic reinvention of house music that infuses deep punchy baselines, soulful chopped up vocals reminiscent of their UK garage upbringing with their lifelong passion for electronic music. The results are spectacular and represent an exciting future of possibilities for Pistols Drawn At Dawn!
