Entrevista a Enzo Buono de Playing For Change... Playing for Change es un proyecto musical multimedia y también una fundación, ambos creados por iniciativa de Mark Johnson con el objetivo de reunir, grabar y filmar músicos de diferentes culturas. En marzo del 2005, el ingeniero de sonido y productor estadounidense Mark Johnson filmó y grabó al guitarrista y cantante estadounidense Roger Ridley en las calles de Santa Mónica, California cantando la canción Stand By Me. Fue entonces cuando decidió añadir otros músicos a esta misma canción: viajó a Barcelona, donde grabó, entre otros, a Clarence Bekker, y luego a Sudáfrica, a la India, a Nepal, a Oriente Próximo y a Irlanda, donde añadiría a muchos otros intérpretes tanto a la grabación de la misma canción como a la grabación de otras canciones. Hacia mayo de 2011, el vídeo de Stand By Me  ha sido visto más de 41 millones de veces en Internet. Pero el proyecto se extendió aún mas, no solo geográficamente ya que, a la musica se le sumó la creación de la fundación “Playing for Change” que se dedica a la construcción de escuelas de música en todo el planeta.  La Fundacion ha creado 7 escuelas y programa educativos de musica que permite sacar a los chicos de la calle y mejorar sus perspectivas de futuro. Nos pusimos en contaco con Enzo Buono, el es ingeniero de sonido y forma parte del grupo de profesionales internacionales que iniciaron con este proyecto. Carla Bruni’s fourth album, Little French Songs, will be released on April 16th 2013 via Verve Records. The first single from the album, “Chez Keith et Anita,” will be released digitally in the US on February 26th.  PRESS HERE to stream the song now. Little French Songs, written and performed in French, English and Italian, is the follow up to Carla’s 2008 critically acclaimed Comme si de rien n’etait (As if Nothing Had Happened) which debuted at #1 in both the Billboard European Top 100 Albums Charts and the French Album Charts. Bruni’s touch is immediately apparent in these new compositions that once again focus on raw emotions and love.
 
Little French Songs was recorded by Bénédicte Schmitt at Labomatic Studios in Paris and it features eight original compositions by Carla Bruni. Album track, “Priere” was co-written by Carla and longtime friend and collaborator Julien Clerc.“Dolce Francia” is an Italian adaptation of Charles Trenet’s “Douce France” and “Valse Posthume” is written by Chopin, with lyrics written by Carla Bruni.  
 
Carla Bruni has been writing and performing music since 1997. In the late 1990s, Bruni changed direction when she decided to launch a music career, first as a songwriter for Julien Clerc, for whom she wrote several songs for his album Si j’étais elle (If I Were Her), then as a singer-songwriter-for her first album, Quelqu’un m’a dit (Someone Told Me), released in 2002. Composed with the help of Louis Bertignac, who also produced the album, Quelqu’un m’a dit was an instant hit. Acclaimed by critics, the album sold two million copies. In 2003, Bruni won the Prix Raoul Breton, awarded by SACEM (French association of songwriters and composers) to recognize and encourage an up-and-coming songwriter or composer. She was awarded the Victoire de la Musique for Best Female Artist the same year. In  January 2007, Bruni released her second album, No Promises, which set English poems to music. Among the poets she selected were Yeats, Auden, Emily Dickinson, Christina Rossetti, Walter de la Mare and Dorothy Parker. This second work, which sold more than 400,000 copies worldwide, shot to the top of the charts in both France and Europe. Her third album was released 2008 and was entitled Comme si de rien n’était (As If Nothing Happened), the title of a photographic work by her brother Virginio Bruni Tedeschi that appears in the album’s booklet.
