The first Musik For Autobahns was a delight: softly-softly ambient and subtle cuts from the likes of Move D, Suzanne Kraft, Roman Flügel and plenty more besides. Even amongst Rush Hour's bounty that year, it stood proudly out. A ripple of excitement went through BR HQ upon finding out Gerd Janson was lining up a second, with no shortage of marquee signings all coming correct with their A game.

A number of heads come together to translate these thoughts into sound - from Fort Romeau's Drive-esque "Seleno" joyride through to the propulsive "Melancholy" of Disco Nihilist. Perhaps none elicit as many feels as the enveloping opener from Leon Vynehall though.

As well as being a mesmeric mimic of accelerating down Bundesautobahn 5 at daybreak, "Midnight on Rainbow Road" got our Debut nod for three main reasons: firstly, it kicked off last year's sublime set from Gerd & Ata (so, about time); second, it's a welcome return for Mr Vynehall after a richly deserved breakout year; third, dude's got previous with N64 titling. And that's something we can all get behind.

Leon Vynehall "Midnight On Rainbow Road" - Boiler Room Debuts

art-aud is back to present his second release of the main series, after booming with the Secret Rave one. This release comes from a really important icon in the italian electronic-techno scene, a person that from the beginning of the 90s helped form what we enjoy now through his music, parties and writings. His name is Andrea Benedetti, aka Sprawl. Over the years he provided help to Lory D in creating Sounds Never Seen, founded his label Plasmek, created a fanzine called Tunnel and a distribution company with Marco Passarani, to name a few. This ep contains three tracks of pure electronic excursion and a remix by the Rephlex-twins D'Arcangelo. The track "Electrome" was originally released in 1994 on his own label and now, after nearly 23 years, sees the light again with a remaster.

Bitch I Ain't The One

So I’ve had this idea for years, and finally, it's coming to life, thru a release on Touched Music. I wanted to do something bigger with my musical power for a good cause. I have an amazing network of musical friends, and almost everybody I asked to get involved said yes. I just want to make a statement, we all have the power to do something good in this world, just think about it what it is for yourself and think of ways to make it happen.

3 years ago I adopted a Rottweiler from the shelter, he was in the shelter for 2 years. From all the dogs I took walks with I connected the most with him. And although he is a handful, I love him more than anything in the world. And it opened up my eyes even wider how I connect with them, mostly better than with humans.

I just love animals and dogs in particular. It was clear I wanted to pick a charity that helps dogs, nothing grabs me more by the throat than the horrific situation for dogs in the dog meat trade in Asia. I supported the soi dog foundation a couple of times already so this was a logical choice to focus on them. They do amazing stuff in the whole of Asia.

Mission Statement of soi dog: 
To improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, to create a society without homeless animals, and to ultimately end animal cruelty.
