For this episode of our Codecast X sessions, we're introducing a great curator and selector, Aurelius Scott.

As a record enthusiast, Aurelius has always ventured for the B side. Looking for ambient deeper cuts where music translates into journeys. 
He has also appeared on podcast series such as  like IO Records, Parallel Perception, Tech Support Music and several appearances on UWS. 
In 2020 He released the podcast series “Anodynic Frequencies” where he asks fellow artists that share the same desire of Ambient and deeper side of the Techno genre. Where he hosted names such as Polygonia, Adhemar, Zemog and more.

From soothing & warm atmospheres to carefully selected deeper grooves, this selection is the perfect pick for a sunny morning in the woods.

Organica from Nils Edte is the first of three releases on Indefinite Pitch, altogether forming the "Organica cycle". Today, Monument is proud to premiere Oniri in advance of the full release on December 18. Aptly named and inspired by the rhythms and ambiance of nature, this is a sumptuous, oneiric piece of deep techno that breathes with an organic pulse, growing to fill the mind of the listener over its runtime. While dark and inward-looking, the track does not feel oppressive, as the lush production is imbued with comforting warmth, bringing to mind a swamp teeming with life both in plain sight and chittering away in the background unseen.

Laima Adelaide is an electronic music composer and producer who has her own label, Predawn Records, which specializes on deep and ambient techno. 
She studied classical composition in Stuttgart, however she is inspired by avant-garde music as well.
She has released music on labels such as Oslated, Phonotropsimi, Annulled Music, and others.
Her music and live performances feature noisy textures, deep hypnotic grooves, and airy melody but are also deeply influenced by nature and its components, such as water and air.

He is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who always had a passion for deeper electronic music, and clubbing. His inspirations come from the wonderful nature that surrounds him and from mysticism. Its sound is based on dark and ambient percursions and modulations.

Salvo is constantly growing, always looking for new hypnotic and atmospheric sounds that can lead the listener on a mental journey by recreating soundscapes.

In this trip, he offers the deeper side of his visions and invites you to join him and take a leap into the abyss.

For our 118th edition, we have the pleasure of having Griff Fulton aka Aspetuck. Currently living in Hudson, NY, Aspetuck's music wishes you were in a dream and this mix is no exception. The mix was recorded in the beautiful woodlands of Vermont where Griff grew up as a child. Having released on one of our fav label, @oslated, Griff is far from being new to the circuit with over 30 mixes delivered and numerous releases on labels like RDV Music, Telomere Plastic, Lagaffe Tales and etc.

Griff's upcoming album Early Color is set to be released on 15th September on his newly founded label @never-late which he has launched with @huedj and @gilleswasserman , the team behind the ever-eclectic @itsdelayed collective from Brooklyn, New York. Both lads have also graced us with their mixes previously with #107 from @huedj, a personal favorite of one of our founders Hassan, and #100 from @gilleswasserman and @irina-kotik as Moon Patrol, one of the most listened and loved mixes on this platform to date.

Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, though the promotion of events, podcast series and a label.  

Organizing events in Berlin and Europe since 2018, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances, panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, queer actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.
